Your intitled to your own opinion but I still stand by what I said. If manny fights canelo with a lot of movements, canelo will have a hard time dealing with manny. Pac is not your regular boxer type, pac is weird and arkward. Put him in with a bigger/slower fighter and it will show.

Roach is a little smarter going about this though.. there will be a cap as to how high canelo can weight in on fight night. Because of this, this fight will never happen because canelo is at a place where he doesn't have to compromise to make the fight. Unless canelo fights GGG and gets sparked out then maybe we'll see pac vs canelo.

I agree with this first part. At this moment canelo will not compromise on the weight. Just look at his stance with GGG, so he will never agree to go lower for manny UNLESS he fights GGG first and gets taken out then I can see Oscar convincing canelo to go down for manny.

And I disagree about pac not seeing the final bell. The way manny fights now it's very possible pac will see the 12th round and possibly even get the decision. Manny is not the wild 100 punches per round fighter anymore. If he fights canelo I expect him to move a lot and throw his 3-4 punch combos and then move out and repeat. Will be a boring fight but pac will see the final bell. Saying pac won't is down right disrespectful!

You really under-value Manny & over-value Canelo...
Think about this: Khan was up 4-1(or so)... He's Khan, so normally he makes huge mistakes, coupled with his trash technique, got timed.
Manny Pacquiao, the FOTD, will get KTFO by someone as slow, average, as Canelo? He'd box circles around him.
Manny has exactly what Floyd has, and he schooled Ginger. He has foot speed, hand speed, reflexes, & underrated defense.

The fight, in reality, wouldn't be competitive. The judges, however, would burn Manny.

Canelo will knock Pac out, entirely different style than Floyd, Floyd fought very defensive and has super long reach compared to Nelo. Pac is a short arm boxer puncher swarmer type.

Canelo has true power in his hands, Pac wont even be able to hurt Canelo at all, this is a deadly match not only that Nelo is a lot bigger than he was a few years ago.

But Roach is right he has to use what Floyd did, Floyd got Canelo to agree to 152 and made sure he was a bit weak, but now Canelo wont budge on that so the next best thing is to make a hydration clause, they have to come to a middle ground, Canelo will get his 155 and wont be allowed to go past 165 on fight night, Pacquiao has enough clout to get that, Canelo wont fight Triple G so they will budge for Pacquiao since thats a huge fight and easy money for Canelo.

Khan said Nelo was well over 180 when they fought, its weird how Nelo wont even fight at 160 and he hydrates more than GGG on fight night.

I think also Oscar wants revenge for what Pac did to him, so he will push for this fight.

Canelo should take it, it will sky rocket him and its a low risk high reward fight, Pac is tiny compared to him it might even be a shorter night than Khan.

I dont see Pac being able to outbox Canelo like Khan was able to do, Khan had reach, Pac doesn't, Pac will over extend and get caught with a heavy counter hook that will put him to sleep, the first shot he lands on Canelo, Canelo will not budge. Look at Cotto, he landed everything on Canelo and didnt wobble him or mark him up, Canelo is a big boy now. It will take someone like GGG or a 168 pounder to really hurt him.

He will just feast on these little guys for now and make millions.
