I do too, but free is better for me! I think if HBO can work with Haymon, then things would be better across the board! I want to see Crawford vs. Broner, GGG vs. Jacobs, Spence Jr. vs. Anybody, etc.

This is basically a situation where the promoter is willing to take a L to build a fighter as a ppv headliner or a star long term. Plus it gives them a feel for where Crawford is right now as far as popularity

such a shame hbo's new way of doing things seems like any competitive fight will be ppv. unless its a ggg vs wade type deal where one fighter can get paid next to nothing it looks like hbo will do all ppv when there are 2 name fighters. such a shame hbo has come to this

Edit: actually the Valdez fight looks solid. One more solid fight and I'm in.
I actually this fight card is pretty solid, and overall, I think it's better than the Pac-Bradley or Canelo-Khan ppv cards.

Crawford-Postol is a good main event. The Ramirez opponent looks like a bit of a light touch (though I haven't watch any of his fights yet), but Valdez-Rueda is pretty good and Benavidez-Santana isn't a bad opener.

$50 is a little higher than I'd like, but I'll probably end up getting this one.

Arum said unbeaten Valdez (20-0, 17 KOs) will fight unbeaten Matias Rueda (26-0, 23 KOs) for the WBO featherweight belt vacated by Vasyl Lomachenko, and Gilberto Ramirez (34-0, 24 KOs) will meet Germany’s Dominik Britsch (32-2-1, 11 KOs) for the WBO super-middleweight belt. Also, unbeaten Phoenix welterweight Jose Benanvidez (24-0, 16 KOs) will meet Santa Barbara’s Francisco Santana (24-4-1, 12 KOs) in a bout scheduled for 10 rounds.

Yeah, it's encouraging to see see that regarding HBO's budget.

So Benanvidez vs Santana is the 4th fight. Decent enough, Santana has upset some undefeated prospects before. A couple of the off television fights are also interesting.

I probably going to end up getting the card because the Crawford vs Postol and Valdez fights are interesting.

Good fight but it doesnt excite me enough to pay $50 for.
If you're anything like me, your HBO and SHO subscriptions are strictly for boxing. So yeah, its bull**** that I get double charged the months they do fights on PPV. I don't think any fight should be on PPV. Not this one. Not Ward-Kovalev. Not even Floyd-Manny.

That said, in the boxing climate we currently live in, this is a PPV quality fight, for the reasons I named previously. And if you're financially able, there's no way a real fight fan wouldn't pay to see this fight. I apologize if I'm wrong. But I'm pretty sure you ordered GGG-Lemieux. That fight was pure, unadulterated garbage. The match-up was pure garbage. This match-up is 10× better. So if you ordered that garbage and not this. Maybe you're not a real fight fan. You're just a hardcore fan of certain fighters. And follow the sport more closely than the average casual fan to see how things line up for your favs.

No its not. Crawford amd Postol probably want more money to fight each other than HBO is willing to guarantee. So HBO put up what they were gonna put up. And told the fighters y'all can try to make up the rest in PPV upside. Its the way its been done for a long time now. Its calmed down lately due to the lack of great match-ups. But aa recently as a decade ago, it was nothing for me to buy 5-6 PPVs a year with match-ups of this quality or better.
