I can't stand Arum but he's totally correct here. It was totally predictable that Khan was getting KO'd from the moment the fight was signed. Khan tried to talk himself into a mega fight for a couple of years and finally got his wish but there's no way he deserved a shot at the MW title.
If Khan fights a a good WW like Thurman, Porter or Brook in his next fight, I see another KO happening to the Khan-man.
Hearn just got a big write up on how Khan could get paid even more millions for fighting Kell, than he did for flopping with Canelo. They must feel he has star power to make such a statement. Hearn is offering that guy laying on the matt millions to fight Kell.
ok????? he still is not an elite fighter and it has been proven several times
I agree. Khan is delusional. He's just not good. Anyone can look fast if you are throwing careless flurries. His foot work is horrible, his jab is average, he doesn't set up his punches, he hops in and out with his guards down, his chin is horrible, his defence is horrible, and his ring IQ is low. Khan needs to fight other average fighters like Bradley.
Golovkin and Mayweather won silver medals too. That parrt of the argument doesn't hold true. The rest? Spot on.
What could Arum's motive be for hating on Khan? Because he does have motives for nearly everything that trips off his tongue. I think he wants Khan out of the picture so that Khan doesn't steal a fight that might otherwise go to Vargas or Bradley.
and to think a week ago oscar was telling everyone they didnt know **** about boxing if they didnt think khan was the favorite to win. I legit cant stand oscar hes so full of ****. arum has done a lot of bs but at least hes a strait shooter these days and says what hes thinking not what he wants people to think
