Khan is a good fighter, but will never be (or has ever been) elite level.

I want to respect Khan, I really do, not least for wanting to provide a comfortable future for his family. But the way he's gone about his business in recent times is just - nah.

He's failed to back up his words in the ring and then tries to spin that being KOed is somehow a good thing - well, he's become a laughing stock. Oh, he's got gold, plenty of that. But the respect he truly craves, the one that's about legacy, he will simply never achieve now.

Never mind elite world level and daydreams of Canastota, the way he's whoring his chin out to the highest bidder right now is pathetic, and he'll struggle to make it as footnote in the UK's pantheon of all-time greats.

This is very true and we get called all sorts for stating the obvious....now they want to throw him in with another hurtful good fighter ......when will THEY get it ...when he can't walk anymore?

Sadly...Bob Arum is correct. Even more sad? Casual fans and Khan supporters are mistaking his desire to cash in as his willingness to fight the best. It simply is not true.

Khan, after the fight, spoke clearly about have 3-4 more fights..WHY? He's still very much so a young fighter..but 3-4 more fights? And they all have "Got to be big names"??? Yea, he's cashing out. I wouldn't be surprised if, once presented with a earnings potential forecast, he starts spewing out Kell Brook's name again.

At the end of the day, Khan has never been an elite fighter. What fighter do you know outside of Amir Khan, takes close to 2 years off from boxing, looking for a Mayweather fight????????? Yea, Congratulations on your multimillion dollar haul vs Canelo...I do believe you will never get another like it.

What could Arum's motive be for hating on Khan? Because he does have motives for nearly everything that trips off his tongue. I think he wants Khan out of the picture so that Khan doesn't steal a fight that might otherwise go to Vargas or Bradley.
Mayweather won Bronze, but his point stands true Khan is not elite and that has been proven time and time again
