I see some encouraging signs from Canelo that he'll fight his mandatory next at the 160 limit. Kudos to him. I'm not some Canelo hater and I used to be a fan, until the Khan fight was announced.
    you forgot Lopez

there has even been some talk of him fighting the thurman porter winner

Weight wasn't an issue. You're telling me losing 1 more pound within a 5 month period ruined him physically?

And to make matters worse, Canelo didn't even use his weight advantage in that fight. He stayed on the outside trying to box. Dude will take an L to Floyd at any weight.

Don't forget Hatton at 150. That's where Canelo won his light middleweight title.

^ Oscar, is that you? "What Welterweight can we target next?" LOL

From now on the only people I'm interested in seeing Canelo fight are Middleweights. Period.

Now giving that Khan did so well against Canelo at 155, now how do you imagine the fight playing it out if the fight was at 152 vs Khan.

Who do you think will win?

Also since these fights have been metioned aswell as possible Canelo oppenents, How about Bradley at 152 would he beat Canelo? what about Pacquaio? would he beat canelo at 152 if so how?
Pay millions per pound? If you talking about the Marquez fight, he paid 300 dollars per pound dumb ass.

All those guys get KTFO at 152 except for Pac. 152 was three years ago dumb ass, so you'd have to rewind time to three years ago, because Canelo weighing 152 now and weighing 152 then is totally different.

Pac KTFO Canelo whether it's 152 (three years ago) or 155 now. If Mayweather could daze Canelo more than once, then Pac knocks him out. He punches harder and is far more active offensively, and he is almost just as fast (as Mayweather).

Bradley and Khan get KTFO at any weight, heck Crawford will KTFO Khan. If Bradley survives he gets dropped 2-3 times.

Canelo was 23 when he fought Floyd, not 22, and he'll be 26 when he fights GGG in sept, not 25.

Post Floyd, Lara etc....Canelo is bigger, stronger and more experienced. Comes into the ring at 175 - 180

He attacks the body much more, something he didnt do against Floyd or Lara

Khan went 6 with a prime Canelo, a weight drained, less experienced Canelo, who wouldn't have attacked the body like that, and instead tried to headhunt, more than likely would have went to the cards and Khan would have got robbed anyways

                Same with Pac

This Canelo now, beats them all including Floyd, he'll attack Floyds body this time around. Also the extra weight will come into play

Canelo's bodywork has been his biggest improvement.
LMAO! Dude stop lying. We all saw the tale of the tape, Floyd was 150 on fight night and Canelo was 165, not 161. You lied by a whole 4 pounds dude! If this were the Floyd-Marquez situation, you'd owe us 1.2 mill now for those four extra pounds you magically took.

Secondly, Canelo weighed in at 153 in his fight before Floyd, and nobody complained he was drained in that fight, so why is he drained at 152 if he wasn't drained at 153?

Thirdly, Canelo did try the body shot strategy in the second half of the fight, and guess what, he hit nothing but gloves, arms, and elbows.

Your lies are pathetic, get better lies.

I don't think weight made that much of a difference against Floyd. Canelo weighing an extra few pounds won't prevent him from being flat-footed and missing all of his punches. And I don't think he improved that much either. Floyd made him look so bad, that people have this false perception that he's a different and much better fighter.

He only looks better now because he's not fighting Floyd or anyone close to that level of talent and skill. Even at 155-160, Floyd would school him.

And prime Pac beats Canelo at any weight, maybe not a shut out like Floyd did, but it would still be a clear win.

Khan loses at any weight. He might do better less than 150. Same with Bradley.
