The weight is the issue here, if it's at 147, I reckon Khan may have enough to outwork him and win by points. If it's higher, Cotto would be too strong.

Khan is now on an automatic medical suspension as Freddie mentioned possibly more than the normal three months because of the way he was laid out.

If there has ever been a time for Khan to ease in it's now.For one he must prove he deserves one of these big money fights, he did nothing apart from mouth off how strong he and his chin was to get this and we only had his word to go on, he was wrong.

As Khan is now saying he's all of sudden a 147 fighter(having said 154 is probably his best) and will no longer be sticking around at heavier weights he must now prove after putting on all those fleshy pounds that he can do 147 safely .

As Freddie and many others have said if Khan is to continue he needs a rest , he's hardly been active over the years but he took a brutal hands down shot and should for his own good be brought back slowly , he at lease deserves that.
