Forget about Pacquiao being able to comeback from retirement now, ever. It hasn't been a picnic for him to just leave his government post and disappear for months. Even the current government gave him hell with his tax obligations, if you recall. Apparently, he's no national hero to everybody there.

Mr Pacquiao will only go back after wasting all his money because of politics. Most politicians in those parts of the world enter politics just to rob the country blind. That's not Pacquiao's nature, but he will have to do the same if he wants to keep his money intact.

I'm like this: Pac said he had a shoulder injury & subsequent surgery. Mayweather admitted he had an unusually high administration of fluids via IV. We can debate the validity & effects of these factors until we're blue in the face. IMO, the only REAL way to settle this once and for all is a rematch!
Take my opinion out of it. This is the opinion of virtually every unbiased person covering and scoring the fight, even those that media people that despise Floyd.

you are clinging to those only because so many people had Floyd winning by such a large margin. It allows you to not accept the outcome and give a fake justification for a rematch. You are like a politician calling for a recount just so you do not have to give a concession speech.

You said no more cherry picks-you wouldn't want to see Floyd fight Ghost, canelo, berto, JMM again so there is no reason to want to see him fight Manny again.

Its been settled everywhere but in the psyche of those who have decided never to give floyd credit.

I'll be happy if he stays retired.
All of the fights I would want to see him in would make no financial sense to him and won't happen anyway so if he stays retired I'd be OK with it.

In all likelihood, Floyd will return to go for win #50. His ego is too big, as is his love of money (which I don't fault), to resist another fight. If/when he does come back, name a more fitting opponent than Pacquiao.

You can't mention Pacquiao without mentioning Mayweather, because they are rivals who have unfinished business. Whether people admit it or not, they know deep down...it's true.

GGG, Thurman/Porter winner or Kell brook would all be better in that we haven't seen what they can do against Floyd. We've seen Manny/floyd and we do not need to see it again IMO and many other people.

Floyd/Manny chapter of the sport is over. Unfortunately for you, the guy you wanted to win lost. I think it best for the sport that Manny or Floyd, if they come back, they should fight younger guys who are near the elite level so we can move on to the next chapter.

I was just surprised to see you ask for a rematch after saying no more "cherry picks".

Given your adoration for Floyd, I'm a bit surprised at some of the names on your list. GGG? Floyd will NEVER fight him, mark my words. He fights Golovkin, he loses. How would you cope with that? Thurman? Too much risk. Porter he easily outboxes. Brook might be a good choice.

I doubt he would as well but that doesn't make me not want the fight to happen. He very well could lose. I am not you or the other Manny fans, it wouldn't devastate me. I think he proves people wrong, again.

Opinions aside, my point is its time to turn the page. Life doesn't have 2 or 3 alternate endings like DVD's. Floyd won and there are others who deserve their shot at him just like Manny got.

Also, there are guys who deserve a chance to fight Manny so they can climb into the top spot or increase their profile. Lets make fights that help clean up the mess at ww.

I'm not devastated, I'm mortified. Actually, I just wanted to see a great fight. I did not.

I agree that it's time to move forward. However, my opinion on a Floyd/Pacquiao rematch only applies if they both come back. It should only be to finish their business with each other. I don't relish the idea of up-and-comers beating faded versions of champions to bolster their careers. Let the yung-uns earn their merit on fighting the top competition of their own era.
