  • Comments Thread For: Amir Khan: Brook Talks Too Much, Don't Want To Give Him a Shot

As previously reported, Amir Khan has dismissed the possibility of fighting domestic rival Kell Brook, despite his plans to return to the welterweight division. The 29-year-old impressed against WBC middleweight champion Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez in Las Vegas on Saturday night until the heavy sixth-round knockout that ended his challenge ultimately exposed him as too small to compete at 155lbs, where that fight was made.

    Smha...

Khan is NUTS. Last time I checked, Brook is the IBF Welterweight Champion. He is also undefeated. Khan just came back from the dead, literally. Smh. He STILL thinks he's the man. Guess what dummy!? You were NEVER THE MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"My name is up in lights in Vegas" is all I had to hear. Wow. Does Khan get that his claim to fame is being put to sleep and/or the chicken dance??

He's bitter cause Floyd f#cked with him so he needed someone to take it out on. He's a turd.........

Lmao at giving him a shot... at what?

Honestly the more Brook entertains him the more Khan will talk down to him. He should focus on getting an actual top welter to fight him instead of a former challenger at 155.

How many world champions has Brook fought?
Khan has faced 12 in 15 fights. Whatever some posters have been trying to say of late, there are plenty of fights out there for Khan. He's a name with a proven track record, regarded by some as chinny but he's without doubt a real test.
Brook certainly needs Khan more than Khan needs Brook, its just the way it goes. Khan will get good money and fights regardless of Brook.
Anyway, this all sounds like hyping up a fight to me, raising it's profile and maximising the potential income.
