Can someone please explain how Khan is ducking Brook?

If Canelo was to not fight GGG, you could call that a duck, because the bookmakers have GGG as a heavy favourite to beat Canelo.

When Floyd and Pacquiao was first spoken about after Pacquiao had beaten Cotto in 2009, that can be called a duck by Floyd, as at the time, Pacquiao was the slight favourite to beat Mayweather.

However, here we have Amir Khan who has just been KTFO and put to sleep by a guy 15-20 pounds heavier then him, and despite Kell Brook being an unbeaten so called World Champion, Amir Khan is still a considerable favourite according to bookmakers in the UK to beat Brook!

The reality is that Kell Brook is just not that good, he is a Paper champion who's promoter is talking up a fight against Andre Berto or Robert Guerrero, and is unwilling to come over to the US to fight the likes of Vargas & Garcia.

Do I want to see the Khan v Brook fight, of course. But just because we boxing fans want to see that fight, and Khan doesn't want to fight Brook, doesn't make it a duck.

If tomorrow Tyson Fury called out Anthony Joshua, would you call it a duck if Joshua said no?

I don't know if "ducking" is the right term or not but it is very annoying when Khan says that he will not fight Brook because he doesn't like him and doesn't want to give him a payday....I like fighters who want to beat up fighters they don't like.

It's not a duck. If Khan fought Berto or Karass, then it's a duck. The guy fought the top fighter in an alien division.

It's slightly similar to Stevenson not wanting to give Pascal a shot, even though he knew it's a lucrative fight in Montreal.

How did Floyd duck Manny in 2009?? Manny refued the 14 day cutoff and walked away...isnt he the one who ducked??? or could they simply just not agree and no one ducked?

Because Khan said himself he would fight him if he beat Porter then proceeded to dodge the fight with excuses

Because Brook is looking for the fight and Khan won't fight him.

He just got KTFO. He's not fighting Brook now or likely ever. He's looking for one more money fight. Either he get's it right off, or he fights a tomato can to look impressive and set it up. You don't put him in with Brook. He get's his arse kicked and he makes no money.

Khan did not want to risk fighting Brook and risk a payday. He got his payday and got knocked out again. But it was a duck. No denying it.

It's the fight the fans want. Khan prefers to risk his life against the Canelos than risk a Brook loss. The guy's a major joke...but his fans make him. Watch how Canelo's fans FORCE him to fight GGG. The Khan's fans prefer to ask: why is it a duck?
