Wait is this Porter or Khan we are talking about XD
Wait you actually thought I was comparing Porter and Canelo? Ugh, you really are just dumb at the end of the day.
Do you not get tired of this? lying through your teeth to defend a man who's afraid to fight his biggest rival?

You are saying Porter is not very good and then in the same sentence saying you need strength (and presumably enough power to keep him off) and footwork to beat him.
Having those attributes make you a quality fighter.... so you are essentially saying to beat Porter you need to be good?!?!?
Because we all know Broner is a good fighter and Devon is a decent enough boxer, and they both lost to Porter... so you are saying you need to possess better skills and strength than those two guys...? Well guess what, there aren't that many people in world boxing in and around the weight that actually have those attributes.
What you're saying can be applied to anyone... for example, Khan isn't very good, all you need to beat him is timing and some pop.
As far as skillset, he is poor, he throws punches for the sake of throwing punches, there is no pattern to his work, he has no jab, the guy solely relies on overwhelming his opponents with his size and strength. However against men who are strong as him, who can move a bit, and can diffuse him either by clinching or a stiff jab, he comes undone and you soon realize, there is nothing else to him.
He was matched against a shot Paulie and a undersized feather fisted Devon and then grotesquely overrated.
I always laugh when Kenny Porter calls into the Boxingvoice and talks as if his son is the gods gift to boxing, some kind of technical genius.
Porter is a good unit, with strength, but he has to be cleverly matched
Some could though argue Brook got away with too much clinching and thats why he got the win. If you take away the clinching, and Brook was forced to actually fight, who knows what the outcome would have been, Brook didnt use his jab, he used his strength against Porter.Last edited by FrankieBruno; 05-10-2016, 06:31 PM.

Canelo is bigger than him, why should he not chase his mandatory?
