Honestly I'm not sure. But the general consensus around here is he will beat Thurman. I'm not so sure.

Regardless, is there a single better win in the WW division by an active fighter than Kell's over Porter?

Porter is not a good boxer

This is the same guy who drew with Julio Diaz. Why are you making out Porter to be some kind of beast?

People need to stop this crap about Porter being a great boxer, he fights with his eyes closed, he has no technique, all he has is physical prowess.

If you don't have the size and clinching ability to tame him, he will walk all over you. E.g Paulie and Devon.

Porter walks into shots, very poor boxer, but has a lot of physical strength.

However the blueprint to beat him was out there with Julio Diaz, Kell just added some clinching into it and thats all she wrote.

I'd go as far as to say Diaz beat Porter better than Brook did, because he didnt need to overly clinch and he landed flush clean shots.

Thurman needs to retire if he can't beat Porter

Canelo is not a very good boxer. Slow feet and not top level handspeed. If you don't have boxing skills he will knock you out E.g Khan, Kirkland unlike when he fights fighter E.g Trout and Lara with them.

Canelo walks into shots just like in the sig you have, not a very good boxer.

I felt like Porter spent most of his time smothering his own work and instigating the clinches which someone (Thurman, Spence?) mentioned in an interview recently that it was Porter's leaping in that caused it most of the time.

And I felt he needed to do that because when he stood off Brook was dominating him with clean hard shots and the piston jab, but hell yeah it was close. I thought they'd rob Kell on some"take it from the champion" bull*****

Khan beat Diaz and didnt need 2 tries to do it, unlike Shawn, who lost by 3 rounds on my card.
