Canelo is simply saying if GGG don't want to make concessions in weight he'll be making concessions on his purse, like it or not Canelo calls all the shots here. If you think media pressure plays any part in these negotiations then frankly you're naive, it won't give them any leverage whatsoever. Canelo makes 155 easily, if GGG can't and fais their will be financial penalties.

100 agree with you. I just don't know where all these ppl came from talking about GGG should agree to canelo's BS catch weight 155 or 157 or 158. Middleweight belt is 160lbs, so guys fighting for that belt should weigh 160 not an ounce over, if canelo wants to weigh in at 155 that's his problem after all it don't even matter bc he comes in at 170 on the fight night so what's the point making such big deal about 155

and by the way acording to sulaiman purse bid is 70-30 and it could be even lower for GGG depending on how much each fighter has produced (97k)...
