This is how I see it although there really isn't a need for a catchweight as Canelo outweighs GGG on fight night anyway. Canelo is unnecessarily draining himself down to 155. Why?

I agree. I also like both fighters. I am not a huge fan but respect their skills. I think this fight needs to be made next. After the circus of Mayweather-Pacquaio, It would be better to go ahead and have the fight in September 17th. There should be a rematch clause as well so they could fight on Cinco de Mayo weekend as well in 2017. It is only good for boxing. I think a catchweight of 157 is fair and i think Canelo should be 65 to 35 on purse split. The fight could be made at Cowboy Stadium or in Vegas or LA. Canelo needs to do what is right and he will earn respect by fighting ggg , just like GGG will earn it fighting Canelo. This is an important time for boxing to do this now and do it right.

If theres a rematch each guy should have a fight or two before. I dont think an immediate rematch would be that exciting but obviously still good

Fight should happen at 160. Alvarez is more than big enough. if he's a ***** and to help ease the Floydboys worries. 158 is all I could handle, I don't see what's fair about Golovkin having to strip more weight than Alvarez will move up with 157, considering Alvarez' size, it's just a little advantage in hopes that Golovkin shows up weak, it's not accommodating a size disadvantage.

If Oscar is talking hat 90-10 BS just call for an immediate purse bid once the 15 day period is over. Time for K2 to stop playing games with GBP and get this fight made. I don't care how big a star Canelo is a 90-10 split isn't a serious offer. The purse bid split is a better offer than that.

Let's see if K2/GGG accept the terms of GBP to make the fight or if they want the belt via strip. I think if GGG refuses to come down and gets the WBC belt because Canelo gets stripped, there's some fights Canelo can take in the meantime, other MW's will probably accept a catchweight of 157 or so for the money Canelo brings. Maybe we get Canelo vs Saunders at a cw.

I hope Canelo-GGG come to an agreement at 157, maybe make a compromise. Canelo budges 2lbs, Golovkin budges 3lbs, sounds fair.

I believe that GGG and his team will take less money and insist on at least 158...they will still make millions more than with any other fight....158 will be easier for GGG than it is for Canelo....GGG has fought a couple of fights weighing 158......then there will be a rematch clause for more millions...that will keep Oscar happy....

Ggg ain't worth no 55/45 split and he should be the blame if this fight doesn't happen. Anything North of 70/30 is fair.

If Canelo sticks to 155 lbs he's to blame.
