From a self esteem perspective what a lot of people loose site of with Amir is that he values perseverance, hardworking effort and balls above all else. We could make a case that he's deluding himself in the latter because he refuses to fight Brook but he isn't as delusional as he gets painted on here.

Rather he doesn't buy into what is a primarily American value where only the outcome is accepted as the basis for self esteem. It hasn't affected his conception of self because he stepped up to the challenge and tried his best. That's what he values. Plus, despite how two judges had it he was outboxing Canelo. When he moves down in weight he can take that as a positive. He won't be fighting anyone as hard hitting again and he won't be draining himself as he did at those lower weights where he was stopped previously.

Now I don't buy into those last sentiments and here we can say that he's a little deluded but what fighter doesn't delude themselves?

Although it won't have much of an affect on his self esteem, at some point in the near future he could do with sitting down and thinking about the effect that being put out cold could have on him physically. If his punch resistance is to decline because of it then even clever matchmaking won't stop him from getting stopped again.
Your reading too far into khans tiny Brain

He basically gets knocked out to the highest bidder

He's a attention whore that thrives off people talking about him , even when he gets laid out nasty he still is in the press talking nonsense

Most people wised up to this years ago . He's a joke

The English knew in his first PPV fight here with Prescott they were flogging a dead donkey it lasted 54 seconds before he was nearly killed, then a careful process of over the hill or little danger fighters .His best and really only impressive win of his career came six years ago over hard hitting but crude Maidana , things looked up and then Garcia !Then carefully picked over the hill or feather fisted fighters.....then Canelo ....then according to Khan, Garcia.

This has got to stop this kid will get really hurt he's a -B fighter at best and there's some heavy hitters out there. He's not in the real world and neither are his mindless fans who lap up the fairy tales and lies.

Oscar and Hunter don't give a f.uk but I thought you dad would have more sense ....but then!

What's funny is I don't see you give Brook all that stick who is older than Khan, been a pro for 12 yrs but has 1 legit name on his record.

It's insanely difficult to grow in a sport where you take punishment, that is why it's important to work on every single aspect of boxing before going pro, Khan needs to retire. This ain't a video game, this is real life and all those punches Khan been getting hit with is gonna catch up.
