golovtards, when discussing Canelo : " 155 is middleweight "

Not sure how long you have been following boxing, but how long have you been visiting this site?

Surely you would have picked up a few pointers by now ?

    Kid, middleweights weigh 160.

Name 1 middleweight who fights at 155..... just 1 ?

You could use some common-sense, surely ?

    The facts remain.....

FACT: Canelo has never fought A middleweight

FACT: Canelo has never fought AT middleweight

I'm not even sure what you're arguing. Middleweight is 155-160, the issue is Canelo forcing GGG down to 155.

That is one issue, the other issue is arguing that a JMW is a MW.

Canelo is a JMW who fights other JMW's at 155..... which is 1lb over.

        Get a grip..... 1lb =/= 1 division.

What he is doing is not right, it is lame and unprofessional...... but it does not magically turn him into a middleweight..... that really is ******ed logic.

Call him what you like, he will still be a JMW who comes in 1lb over out of entitlement.

Never heard of a MW who weighs 155 and fights JMW's.

Canelo will be better/stronger given 2-3 camps specifically designed to prepare him for 160, his buildup/preparation will be much different than now..... but he may end up fighting Golovkin first by the sound of things.

By beating the JMW Cotto in a money fight..... a money fight that somehow got sanctioned by the WBC, so I guess they made some money out of it as well.

not cool. I guess if you are a MW you need to fight MW guys at the MW weight.

                EXACTLY !

Canelo fights JMW's at 155...... so he is OBVIOUSLY not a genuine MW.

Beating Martinez did not magically turn Cotto into a middleweight..... so beating the JMW Cotto did not magically turn Canelo into a middleweight either.

Attaching a label to Canelo will not somehow magically transformed him into a middleweight.

If Khan had out-boxed Canelo, would that magically turn him into a MW ?

                If I put this label.....

                on this product.....

Will it suddenly taste yummy ?

Canelo will be a middleweight when he undertakes a training camp specifically designed to prepare him to fight a middleweight..... at 160.

Golovkin is a tough ask first up, but oh well..... it's a tough sport.
