I thought Khan was giving a good account for himself for the initial 2 rounds and then Saul began working his way in. By the 5th round the momentum had shifted considerably and Khan was no longer as flashy nor effective as in the beginning of the fight. Alvarez led him to the KO by setting his offense up with feints after ripping Khan's body throughout the night.

Khan may have been faster, may have made Canelo miss several times but he hardly ever made him pay. There's levels to the sport and it just so happens that many folks turn their attention away from what Saul actually does well and focus on what he's basic at simply to better fit their agenda. Canelo may be slow footed, amateurish at cutting off the ring and applying pressure but his upper body movement and reflexes are sharp. Think about it, Khan, the much faster man with good technical abilities was being flicked, missing and was having his punches rolled by the bigger, cement footed guy. Interesting to say the least.

If counting punches is the way to score a fight, here are the Floyd/ Pac stats....according to the punch stats it was a "draw"

American website sat its leading commentators down to watch fight again

They decided to tally every punch and came up with startling statistics

Figures suggest the megafight could have been scored 114-114

      The conclusions here include:
      1) The fight was far closer than the judges, especially Moretti, and most pundits perceived

      2) Many rounds were exceptionally difficult if not too close to call.

      3) The punch stats as counted in the heat of the night are profoundly suspect (one US commentator who had Pacquaio winning asked if they were compiled by ‘kids from the HBO and Showtime offices’ and was told ‘Yes.’)

      4) Pacquiao’s claim that he had won the fight was reasonable, not outrageous as the in-ring interviewer implied.

      5) If watching on television, maybe better to mute the sound commentary.

      6) Mayweather is very wise to keep insisting on home-town advantage in Las Vegas, which benefits from the huge economic impact of his fights.

I had it about the same, but I felt that the 3rd and 4th were tossup rounds. Either way, Khan wasn't being robbed.

3-2 either way after 5. Even fight.

Boxing Scene had it 4-1 Khan.

Compubox doesn't mean ****. Your eyes tell you who won a fight, not some old guy hitting a button saying a punch landed.

You are the epitome of a casual fan

The stats i posted actually watched the fight in slow mo, 50 times and counted

There is a different stat for every fight

Its a inaccurate way to judge a fight.

Fact is nearly every Pro even your favorite crack head Floyd Snr had Khan winning

                  Paulie, Atlas, Lennox, Garcia etc...

Khan was up 4-1 in most people eyes an got knocked out

                  case closed
