There is no middleweight that can tie up Golovkin. He doesn't allow himself to be tied up. Murray tried a couple times, Wade tried...both big guys.

Yeah, but that's Floyd. Tieing up Floyd is pointless.

He needs to find a way of neutralising Golovkin's offense, I think at distance Canelo is favoured, IMO.

Canelo's one of the best body punchers in the game and GGG might have a glass body for all we know
I think anybody is expecting Alvarez to knock out Lil'G, and I'd be surprised if Lil'G KO's Alvarez.

Why people overlook a 12 round decisive theories for either one surprises me. I think Alvarez is too smart for Lil'G. Alvarez's reach out performs Lil'G, and anybody thinking Lil'G will walk Alvarez is just hopeful theory.

What we do know about Lil'G is this: ''Ward is too much for me...'' ''Alvarez is great champion...'' ''Alvarez is BIG...''

I've never heard Lil'G even say ''Alvarez is easy for me...'' The humbleness has its limits, and I'm willing to bet that Lil'G respects Alvarez highly. Sanchez is just getting frustrated because he as a dork is now public standard.

That's why I say IF he can.

All due respect to those guys but those guys aren't on Canelo's level. Yeah they had no success tieing him up but they also had no success any where else.

I just don't see him keeping Golovkin off of him I think Golovkin could keep Alvarez at a distance with his jab.

Don't forget ''range.'' Do you really believe Murray or Wade's boxing IQ is that of Alvarez?

How people compare Lil'G opposition when comparing Alvarez scenarios is beyond me.

All you need is a "good" ref to shout "STAP!" as soon as you come into contact.

I agree with you I struggle to see that aswell.

The battle of jabs will be a good one.

I just think Canelo's skills, timing and counterpunching is being underrated here, it honestly reminds me of Danny vs Lucas. Everyone's expecting Golovkin to walk through him and smash him, and underrating what Canelo is capable of much like they were with Danny.

4 completely different fighters I know, but I get the same feel.

It's not about SPEED, it's all about Amir Khan GLASS JAW. And Amir Khan jaw isn't good enough to let him compete with Canelo. Speed got nothing to do with Khan losing the fight. His chin is the main reason why he lost, not Canelo neutralizing his speed. I knew from the start that this fight gonna end with the first Canelo clean punch and I was right

And that would be a good argument if Golovkin had china chin like Khan but Golovkin got a solid jaw, plus Canelo isn't that fast either

I'm not a fan of Golovkin, but I think that only boxers with Mayweatheresque kind of defense (like Ward) got a chance to outbox GGG and that's definitely not Saul.

The difference I see is danny was the bigger fighter against Matthysse had the height and reach. Golovkin has the height and reach over Canelo.
