He was 7 pounds lighter fight night than his previous fight. Safe to say, he was drained.

That doesn't mean that he's drained

He may have been unhappy with how he felt when he ballooned up for Trout and wanted to come in lighter for Floyd.

Why didn't he come in 165 for any of his other fights then?

Most rational fans realize Floyd is just superior to Canelo. But this is NSB where every Floyd win results in a group of posters on NSB that find something wrong with the opponent. These posters will say ANYTHING rather than give Floyd credit. Is what it is.

How do you know he hasn't? I don't.believe he weighed for his last 3 fights.

He was 172 for Trout, 171 for Lara, it's not unusual for him to be 167 like he was against Floyd if he wanted to come in lighter.

If I'm not mistaken Canelo said in the face off that he feels better in the 60's than he does in the 70's.

He's probably not disclosing his weight because he's been getting bigger with each fight.. He looked pretty big in the Cotto and Khan fights.

                Who knows.

Either way coming in lighter doesn't mean a fighters drained.

Floyd schooled Canelo at a catch weight but Floyd was moving up also.

Great win and IMO this is what catch weights were intended for.

wasnt that what golden boy was talking about the whole camp and lead up. Canelo was very disciplined with his diet as well.

the drained thing is an excuse because the same people thought the fight would never happen....then it gets signed....mayweather will get knocked out...didnt happened. He won and easy so....insert excuse. Rinse, wash and repeat.

It was a great win and Floyd's last truly great performance imo. Canelo might not have been "drained" but the weight cut did adversely effect him, Floyd even gloated about Canelo wearing "plastics" because he was struggling with the cut. Floyd beats 152 or 154 Canelo, but I still believe the cut had an adverse effect on his performance and energy.
