I'll admit Maidana's speed can be underrated at times, but it's pretty damn clear who's faster between him and Canelo.

Canelo is clearly the much faster, sharper and crisper puncher with much better timing. It showed.

When have you seen Canelo display defense at a high level and it be effective? Maidana has a better resume than Canelo and has shown superior defense. Even Mayweather said Maidana's defense is better than people think... and this is before he fought him!
