You're the only one that's mad, you wrote that wall of text crying how people being neutral on a fight makes them racist "why doesn't Vargas get a pass for cheating mano"

Neither. Let's just hope the fight can be made. Should be a good one. If not GGG should fight BJS or DJ and Canelo should vacate his MW title and stop holding onto it and let someone else have a shot at it at the 160 limit. To be honest though, I'm not even sure where Canelo would go if this fight isn't made? Like who is there to fight at 154? He already cleaned it out really, Cotto, Trout, Lara? Nobody really wants to see any of those I doubt... I think a Kell Brook fight would be great at 154... but that isn't likely... so I don't even know. I think Canelo HAS to make the GGG fight... there isn't many other options in all honesty.

The fact Canelo has never fought at the full limit of 160 and GGG and his sparring partners claim he's wrecking light heavies is a joke, I've no desire to even see this fight, I'd much prefer to see Canelo campaign at 154 and GGG at 168, seem as though 160 isn't a competitive division and we all know GGG is just sticking about 160 for a payday he couldn't earn in 7-8 of his mismatches against a guy who has never fought at the full weight limit.

When was the last time or have we ever seem GGG in a competitive fight when he's not blowing out overmatched opponents, he punches likes a light heavy from all accounts, I feel he'd be better suited at 168 or 175 if he's genuinely bothered about his fans.
All I see are excuses to protect Canelo, he's never fought at the full limit but routinely comes in over 168 on fight night. Against Khan he even refused to be weighed in on fight night suggesting that he was even bigger than normal.

You criticize GGG for fighting mismatches but when he chases after someone who could give him a real test you complain? I dont understand fans like you, this fight would be more interesting than anything at 168 for GGG (aside from maybe Ward) and more interesting that any potential opponent Canelo would fight at 155.

This is where I lie too... If the fight happens at the full 160 or at least at a weight that isn't designed to drain Golovkin then I'll be behind Canelo hoping for the upset. I assume this is the only way the fight happens. I like the way GGG fights and there's nothing to dislike about the fighter himself but I will be pulling for Alvarez to justify his place as the new face of boxing. Winning this fight on fair grounds does it.

Most of the boxing fans I talk to in my neighborhood are black or Mexican but for whatever reason most of them don't believe in Canelo. For whatever reason the overwhelming majority of people I spoke to picked Cotto to beat Canelo, and I argued and argued until I finally just made bets with them. Then they went and did the same shit picking Khan to beat Canelo, and I made their pockets less fat once again.

I think he looks less elite to the naked eye because he fights in a style that's not typical among Mexican fighters, or any fighter with his body type. He's a big, bulky guy who is strong and thick yet he fights in a slicker style. It looks "off" to them and they always pick the other guy to win. I don't think it had anything to do with race. I've always favored Canelo.
