    Khan needs to retire

No shame in the career he's had, he did well, didn't duck anyone and made a lot of money.

But you can't keep getting knocked out like that, he's gone as far as he's going to, if he carries on he's a gatekeeper, what's the point?

I think Khan can still cause almost all welterweights a lot of problems, however being KOed like that multiple times can have long lasting effects on the brain, hopefully he's doing well financially now so that he can retire soon so that he doesn't get permenantly damaged.

I respectfully disagree with this statement. This fight showed if anything, that if Amir had a good enough defence that could protect his chin, he'd be so much better and would be at the upper echelons of the sport. Having a ****ty chin doesn't make you a bad fighter, being unable to protect that chin does.

If I were in his shoes, I'd seek out a defensive coach after having ditched Virgil and try to reboot my career. I'd seek out Floyd Sr, prostrate myself before him as if I was praying during Ramadan and beg him to train me. He's used to training fighters with fast hands and is a defensively inclined coach. I'm not saying you should suddenly switch to the Philly Shell and emulate Floyd, but if he can at least learn some actual defensive techniques and skills, Amir can have a good five years at/near the top in my opinion.

I give him so much ****, but I'm still inherently a Khan fan, and would kill to see him have a career that his potential warrants.

He still can fight Brook and Danny García.

These two fights would be big events.

          Khan is a dam hero

Boxing needs more like him that will take on anyone no matter what the odds.

Canelo should retire if his next fight isn't GGG at 160.

Nobody expected him to win that fight. Like saying Rod Salka should have retired after the Garcia fight.

He's going to be on his back again if he ever steps in the ring with Brook.

He's actually a better fighter under Virgil but Virgil knows how flawed he is. He is open in interviews saying he wishes Khan was more committed to training year round and wishes he had him earlier. Khan doesn't really train that much outside of camp and eats pretty bad which is why he looked like he had way more fat on despite it only being about 8lbs, looked to be more fat than water.

Khan isn't going to change much at this point. I saw him not going for those huge combos, he took a step back and composed himself on a few occasions, he wouldn't have done that under Roach.

His chin isn't as bad as people make it out to be. He got caught a few times vs Canelo and didn't wobble. That punch Canelo landed had good power, excellent timing and landed in the perfect spot...Khan didn't see it coming because of the way Canelo threw it. He got caught flush quite a few times by Alexander, didn't wobble and Collazo caught him a few times and didn't wobble him.

Khan needs to train with Virgil more, for about 8 months he was barely training to be honest, mainly going around the world.

Khans problem he can't focus for 12 rounds. But he can GI back down and try rematch Garcia. But maybe try to rebuild one more time. Get some learning fights out the way.
                  But needs to rebuild

Khan has tons of options and can make $1m+ easily for each fight with the exception of Brook making him at least $5-10m, options include:

                    Thurman
                    Porter
                    Spence
                    Broner
                    Brook
                    Bradley
                    Garcia rematch
                    Peterson rematch
                    Vargas

In before he's avoiding punchers crap all over again. Khans has fought 4 punchers thus far, Brook is yet to fight ONE.

No one else out there is going head to head against their kryptonite, no one can take that away from Khan.
