Canelo had him figured in the 3rd round, it was only a matter of time from then on as you started to see Canelo was on a different level. It's hardly any different from Garcia who was slowly timing Khan by the second round. Khan has no upperbody movement, doesn't know how to fight going backwards and he freezes up when punches come his way which is actually what newbies do when they start learning how to box. If a shitty guard and movement is your only means of defending, then your never gonna win at this level.

I'm speaking from the heart in saying this but he needs to retire now before it gets real ugly for him.

Wait, so you mean speed isn't enough? I thought his speed was enough for him to win? I mean he leaves his chin in the air too long, squares up too much...can't adapt...has atrocious footwork....and doesn't react well to punches...but I thought speed would be enough. That's another variable that people refused to let go. All they would talk about was speed. It's damn pathetic. They literally sold the fight as a matchup of speed vs power, knowing he was only a matter of time.

The fact that this fight was even competitive for a few rounds is embarrassing for Canelo. I doubt he even fights Lemieux next, let alone Golovkin. Get ready to see him against Curtis Stevens or someone along the same caliber.

As for this fight, Khan had the right distance and moved well in the first two rounds but he lost focus and got too confident. Right before the KO he he threw two lazy jabs and basically waited on the punch to get to his face. Anyone from 140 and up with any kind of power would have got the same result. We got exactly what was expected. The most interesting part of the whole night was learning that Mexicans don't mess around.

The Card was horrible from top to bottom imo. I feel bad for anyone that purchased it.
I can't believe some actually thought the undercard was going to be good.

I'm not sure what you're upset about but you probably should put away whatever inhalant you're huffing on and see about getting a job in the morning.

Complete mismatch. I felt bad for Khan after he got KO'd. What an absolute joke of a fight. Very dangerous, PROPS to Khan for taking this fight. He's a real fighter.

                GGG would starch this dude.

I thought the card was pretty good. Prospects taking their first into fighting contenders. One shined. One failed miserably. I wasn't crazy about the Lemieux. It produced a very predictable outcome. But, it was entertaining while it lasted. And of course the main event produced a predictable result. It was an interesting style match-up. A style that the favorite has struggled with in the past.

I agree, it wasn't a PPV level main event, and I didn't order it. But, I did go and watch it at a local movie theater. And for $20, I didn't feel cheated, nor have any complaints. Of course everyone is gonna talk about the finish in the main event. And since Canelo is beef'n with everybody's favorite fighter, folks are gonna complain. But it was an acceptable tune-up/stay busy fight. And honestly, as a hardcore fight fan, my takeaway from the night was the Gomez kid. It takes a really goid fightervto dominate Herrera like that. And I'm anxious to see him in with top guys at 40 and/or 47.

Khan wanted the money, he BEGGED Floyd for the fight, and ran his mouth to much so Floyd took berto, then he BEGGED for the Manny fight, and perhaps Manny knew he would hurt him, but he obviously didn't fight him...Alvarez' people saw a good highlight reel and offered the fight to him, and I loved how hunter and khan immediately spoke out saying that he went up 2 divisions to fight Canelo and he should fight GayLoveKin. However, that's a lie...khan when up 1 division plus 1 lb. Khan still full of himself
