You gotta feel for Tapia when his team threw the towel in but it was a completely one sided match and it was only getting worse as time went on. He was about to hit the deck again twice as hard and he was getting dominated every round.

I commend him for having the balls to jump up a division and dive straight into the deep end but he really should've kicked off his MW career with a far less dangerous fight.

Tapia's 26 and already past his prime. He's young enough to quit the sport and find something else to do.

Canelo will get knocked out if he fights and trades with Lemiuex. Even GGG avoided to trade with David. But if you look at David, he doesn't look physically strong but it's natural power that makes him a ferocious puncher. Canadian Armenian takes it, no doubt. Oscar will think twice to put Canelo in front of David let alone GGG

It makes no sense to trade with a guy like David as his hands, for a bulky looking guy, are very fast. Hell some of those left hooks you could hardly see. You need to fight a guy like David patiently. Pick your spots while he loses his energy. Then punish. GGG had the perfect game plan, tame him, then bring the pain. I am not sure there are many others in his weight class who can fight that disciplined of a fight against Lemieux.

GGG makes good fighters like Lemieux look like bums when hes fighting them. Believe me, he would make canelo look like a bum too.

No way they put Canelo in the ring with a lion like LeMule.

It's a dangerous fight for Canelo. Rubio was a tough veteran - helluva step up for the green 22 y.o Lemieux who was used to blasting guys out in a round or 2 - kid just gassed and lost the will when his guy didn't fold. Lemieuxs probably hitting his peak now, and yeah he can be outboxed but this wouldn't be any kind of walk in the park for the ginger one.
