Pulev looked poor, the clinching was disgraceful.

Del Boy has been done for a while too.

Just accept getting hugged all night, making no effort to fight out? That would have no doubt met with your disdain as well.

Chisora did the right thing, and I hope every future opponent of Pulev's does the same. Blatant clinchers like that need to be stamped out of boxing, and if the refs aren't doing their job then fighters have to take matters into their own hands.
Remember Chisora vs Fury 1 with the clinching ? What about all those forearm leads from Chisora you know like Cunningham vs Fury ? I guess you support the forearm in the face, you gotta do what you gotta do when you're desperate right?

So you don't support Pulev cheating, bending the rules but it's ok for Chisora to and you support Fury's 'grit' shall we call it as it is obviously not cheating is it ? I think we know where yiu stand here. Are you a Brit by any chance ?

No idea other than the fact you're becoming all sensitive now another Brit got a spanking again.

I guess Chisora isn't world class since Haye beat him oops I meant since Fury rematched him, damn I forgot Fury beat him after Haye did. Don't give up on him yet, you may see AJ fight him yet.

There's something about Pulev that makes him very unlikable. I'm hoping that Joshua will flatten him, he's mandatory for the IBF now isn't he?

Agreed, the amount of clinching from Pulev was beyond excessive. The ref should have done something about it, instead he seemed more focused on trying to penalize Chisora

I believe in fighting fire with fire. If a boxer is blatantly bending the rules to their advantage and getting away with it then as far as I'm concerned the opposing fighter can do whatever he needs to even the scale. Pulev didn't want to get rabbit and kidney punched? Then he shouldn't have d****d himself all over Chisora at every opportunity. Simple.

Don't even know why you're bringing Fury into this. Fury clinches and engages in rough stuff, but he still spends the majority of the fight boxing. He doesn't try to blatantly stymie the action at every opportunity. What Pulev did was tantamount to a DQ offence. It's absolutely negative fighting, and illegally shuts down a huge portion of a shorter fighter's arsenal.

I don't condone fouling in and of itself, but when a big man is leaning on you like that your offensive options are limited. A fighter buries their head on your shoulder and the only head shots you can hit them with are behind the ears. Bodyshots become kidney punches with no leverage behind them. Uppercuts are impossible. That means your only legal options are to do nothing and wait for the ref to break you up, and try to box them from the outside, where you're at a considerable stylistic disadvantage. Fcuk that.

Sad thing was, Pulev was perfectly capable of winning this fight legally. But he's so shit scared of getting dropped on his ass again that he's trying to turn himself into Wlad mark 2. He'd do better to find his balls again, because that tactic's going to end badly for him.

Don't be an idiot. Pulev's as basic as they come. You ever seen him try to throw a combination that wasn't a simple one two? Me neither.

Pulev's a fighting robot with about as much finesse as an Emperor Penguin.

Forget guys from the 70s, fighters from the early 2000s would probably beat him. Hell, Tony Thompson was befuddling him before Thompson's age caught up with him.

Is it his bland personality, his sore loser attitude or his dull as ditchwater style I wonder?

Pulev would wax out 95% of those 70's brawlers ,he has hidden skills ,only the top guys would beat him now . Tghere was nothing finesse about 70's anything he would fit right in ,but be the biggest guy by far so how would Pulevs6'4 250 frame actually take him? Well i know that answer!Thompson was completely out classed after rnd 3 what were you watching?
