I thought the Trout fight was closer than scored. I thought Lara deserved the nod. I thought it was insane one judge had the Floyd fight a draw. And I thought the Cotto fight was a lil closer then scored. There is clearly a higher standard by which Canelo needs to lose a round or his opponent needs to win a round then for most guys.
Well I think that's the problem for Khan. His offence is going to look like one of those cartoons where a guy attacks a gorilla with a pea-shooter.

All the 'significant' shots are going to be Canelo's. They're going to look more solid and they're going to get the biggest reaction from the crowd. In all likelihood Amir's speed enabled combinations are just going to look like pitty-pat bullshit.

Just think about how much more solid a puncher Cotto is than Khan. How much more crisp his combinations are. How he turns his body into the shots compared to the arm punching style Khan has.

Despite all that, Cotto's work was outshone by a handful of solid Canelo connections in the majority of rounds. If it was that hard for Cotto, it is going to be dramatically worse for Khan.

Canelo loses by letting Khan see the final bell. Not on the cards of course, but it will be a loss in itself if he doesn't stop a guy who was KOd in 1 at 135 and KOd at 140 in 4.

Don't think Khan sees the final bell but if he does, it could go two ways. They could rob Khan if he did happen to outbox the diva but that creates a larger problem for GBP. It will force Canelo to deal with the GGG situation, either face him or vacate. If he vacates, he has no stake at 160 and will just be a blown up jmw guy continuing to pick on smaller foes.

They could also rob the diva which might sound crazy but it buys her extra time. Since there is a rematch clause only in the event Khan wins, should Khan somehow win, that will open the opportunity for GBP to approach WBC to have the rematch before facing GGG. Then it comes down to whether K2 will accept the payoff again or not.

I don't think they are going to go for it again though. Also, all this trash talking is going to make it VERY bad for the diva should the GGG fight come to fruition because he is going to be on a mission to punish the diva is a bad way.

If it goes the distance, Khan gets robbed.

If it goes the distance, you will have one side saying Khan's activity won him the fight. Because he would be landing combos that would just be bouncing off Canelo's thick ass, brick head having no impact.

And the other side saying Canelo win because although he connects on fewer shots, Khan's legs move like rubber bands every time he lands.

This fight is such a sham that if it goes 12 khan deserves to win no matter what

If Khan hardly ever landed a punch and was clearly beaten in every round and the fight went the distance many Khan fans would still say he got robbed. Canelo will KO him in a few rounds anyway in my opinion.
