i am sure he has... i am sure he has talked about everything at least twice with reporters asking him over and over.

however this video doesn't show a casual point of view. He might have his favorites like you and I but he has extremely good boxing knowledge and analysis, and just because you might disagree with him doesn't make it casual fan's point of view.

He's right though. Roman Gonzalez is 45-0. So if he fought 5 bums then retired he would hold the record. It makes no sense. It's just a matter of when you want to stop fighting.

I know baseball statistics are easy for casuals to understand but boxing just isn't a sport that can be broken down by numbers.

Chavez was 87-0 against bums. Floyd is 49-0 and fought like 20 world champions.

Kellerman is being a lil dense with the interpretation of the top perfect records in boxing of which Rocky & Floyd are clearly & unarguably tied for. At least at the championship level. I suppose there could be some random guys in boxing history who fought 50 bums & won all 50 fights, but I don't know those guys.

This record is not the longest unbeaten streak record as everyone seems to keep implying or outright saying it is. Its about a perfect record aka you won every fight til you were done fighting. Chavez lost fights. Ricardo Lopez had a draw. Its not just a heavyweight thing. Its a perfect record thing. I think Rocky mighta just been the first guy to actually make it a thing cuz few guys retired without losing back in the day. I don't think anyone notable retired with with a perfect record before Rocky.

                  Second Place goes to Pacquiao!
Final Place goes to Floyd for being a cleaner athlete than Pac and the women love it!

Thats exactly right doe. If Roman fights 5 more times & wins & retires he's #1 on the perfect record list (again for championship level guys).

I know baseball statistics are easy for casuals to understand but boxing just isn't a sport that can be broken down by numbers.
Records like this are. People talk about most KO's, most 1st round KO's, most wins, most consecutive wins. This is just best perfect record. I don't argue there are quality control issues with boxing records like this, but I think for a perfect record if you wanted to quality control it you easily could cuz its such a rare feat done in boxing at the championship level which Rocky, Floyd & Roman would all be at.

If you start Chavez Sr with his first decent opponent, I would say Adriano Arreola looks okay, all the way up to Terrance Ali that puts Chavez at still an excellent 48-0 before losing. But not quite Floyd status either, due to the lack of names.
Until Hernandez, Floyd had beaten 20 no bodies. You can do the math there too...
