He's basically saying he's not a middleweight...sounds like he's going to relinquish the title. Cotto just stepped in to take advantage of a broken-down Martinez and Canelo stepped in to take advantage of a broken-down too small Cotto.

What Cotto was doing wasn't right, but in reality it was obvious the guy was too small. In Canelo's case he's been fighting at 154 since he was an adult and is clearly growing into a real Middleweight. He was way bigger than Cotto, bigger than Lara, and Trout. He doesn't even fight at 154. If he fights someone not names Golovkin or Mayweather in his next fight there's a problem.Comment

A lot of fights have no business being PPVs. You're right though, most PPVs are championship fights. In Cotto vs. Canelo, neither was a champion @ MW, yet the WBC sanctioned it as a "Middleweight Championship Fight," even though it was @ 155. There's the problem!Comment

Ya but I don't think it will really affect him because he'll continue fighting at 155. Which in in his mind and his fans' minds is different than actual middleweight. It won't really look like a duck, just a guy fighting at a different weight class lol.Comment

Canelo is struggling to make 155, but he is doing it so that he has an excuse not to face GGG
This is why he trains wearing bin bags
If Khan has a brain he'd attack Nelos bodyComment
