Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury negotiations have begun

    According to Eddie Hearn.

Hopefully both fighters get through their next bouts and this fight happens!

Obviously Fury has the tougher task in defeating the second best HW on the planet compared to the American bum that Joshua is lined up to face.

Fury was going to target Wilder after beating Wlad, but it looks like he now fancies the easier option, can't blame him.

Promoter Eddie Hearn has revealed initial talks with Tyson Furys team over a potential unification bout with Anthony Joshua have taken place.

I don't envy any of the HW belt holder who want to unify. Fury, Wilder, and Joshua are 3 serious champs.

I was hoping for Fury-Wilder next, but this will do just fine!

The way Hearn seems likely to play things is another Brezeale-level guy in November for that easy money and then the unification with Fury around the time the Parker mandatory is due next year.

The WBA are such a BS org it's hard to tell what they'll do next but could be they order Fury-Ortiz which would be a good fight.

Would be surprised if this happens with the amount of money Hearn has invested in Joshua. Then again the showtime deal is done so they're getting decent money either way plus a big unification/domestic fight.

Can't see Fury being keen on facing Ortiz tbh, especially when you consider the money that an AJ or Wilder fight would bring.

              No surprise.

Fury obviously believes he'll win, and Joshua believes it's an easy fight.

              Hopefully all goes to plan.

Does Joshua really think it's an easy fight? I'm not saying that he can't win, but easy?

I don't think Joshua is foolish enough to really think that.

According to Hearn, they both believe that given the styles.

I'm certainly interested, it's been a long time since the HW division was genuinely relevant.

Joshua comes off as supremely confident and it doesn't seem like false bravado. He's always nonplussed by his victories and looking forward at future fights.

No way will Fury be easy though.
