B-hop is a beast, and a legend in the sport! The more I read about today's "greats," the more I have come to appreciate fighters like B-Hop! If GGG wouldn't consider fighting Ward @ 168, I doubt he would entertain fighting Kovalev @ 168 or above.

This is getting sad. They might as well admit the truth: We, at Golden Boy, have a nice roster of young talent, but currently only 1 star, who is Canelo. At this point, because of the boxing landscape, we can not afford for him to be knocked out, which would be the likely outcome if he were to fight Golovkin next.Comment

Exactly Hopkins is a partner in Golden Boy Promotions, who guide the career of WBC middleweight champion Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez. - See more at: http://www.boxingscene.com/hopkins-n....TS4wdv8n.dpufSo now ya'll wanna talk about Hopkins words being a reflection of him working for Golden Boy.....I've been complaining for months about the conflict of interest with Hopkins working for HBO while being an employee of Golden Boy. This type of stuff only happens in boxingThis is getting sad. They might as well admit the truth: We, at Golden Boy, have a nice roster of young talent, but currently only 1 star, who is Canelo. Hopkins Is Being ******
Boxing is a sport. It is divided into different sections by weight. Boxers are required to box within their weight divisions, but are certainly not compelled to box anybody outside of those weight divisions.
Just because Hopkins did something does not mean that somebody else should do the same. Golovkin is a middleweight and that is exactly the weight under which he should box. He has no obligation to fight Alvarez at a catchweight below the 160 pound limit and he has no obligation to fight a light heavyweight like Kovalev.
People seem to forget that boxing is an Olympic sport and boxers should stick to their weight divisions and stop fooling around trying to make a name in divisions where they do not belong.Comment

I disagree with Hopkins. Very few fighters can do or are willing to do what he did. However, if GGG won't face Ward at 168 you know good and well he's not going to face Kovalev at 175 or a catch weight. I really don't think its fair to ask any fighter to jump 15 lbs especially when (to my knowledge) the fighter going up in weight does not weigh 175 on fight night.Comment

True, now if every boxer did that, MMA would be the number one fighting sport.Boxing is a sport. It is divided into different sections by weight. Boxers are required to box within their weight divisions, but are certainly not compelled to box anybody outside of those weight divisions.

Is that why he's out on the front lines trying to protect Canelo?not really he hates whites and white fighters so he wants to see them kill each other instead of black fighters
Besides, I've seen some of your posts and you have no right pointing the finger at someone for racial bias.......Comment
Admit it B-Hop, Oscar put you up to this, didn't he? It even sounds like him. How many times did you guys rehearse, & Oscar tell you, "Now put it in your own words"?
