Agreed!! Great wins over great fighters.Pacquiao- the biggest money fight of all time and a unification bout between the two greatest pound for pound fighters of this era
De La Hoya- Floyd's first fight at Junior middleweight and up until that point the biggest money fight of all time
Canelo- A unification bout against a young, strong, champion, who already has a hall of fame resume at the age of 25
Gatti- Floyd's first ppv fight and the fight which I personally thought he looked his best in.
Corrales- An all time great performance against a top pound for pound undefeated champion in his prime and the fight which I thought Floyd looked close to his bestComment

Yeah man. I struggle with that too. Ultimately I have him in top 5 because I feel that's offset by the fact that Mayweather hadn't fought in a couple years himself and also because Marquez proved himself to be quite formidable at 147 in only his second fight there (Pacquiao). Tough call though.Comment

Only a moron would give Floyd any credit for beating the sluggish, bloated lightweight midget, styllistically challenged, pre-Heroidia that was Marquez, the very worst version of JMM EVER, who came to fight with every possible disadvantage against him: style, reach, speed, stamina, strenght, you name it
That match must be a candidate for biggest, most shameless cherrypick of all time
on topic:
Castillo
Corrales
Hatton
that's it
those are the only big names Duckweather dared to fight in their prime
or at least close to it, in Hatton's case.
let's not forget he didn't allow Ricky to fight at his best weight of 140 and forced him to move up to 147 at the last minute, in one of Floyd's typical ******* diva moves to gain advantageLast edited by lopetego; 05-04-2016, 08:48 PM.Comment
