Why does Crawford get to move up a weight class and fight 3 mediocre opponents while

I like the guy but people's perspective about those fights taints his image in my opinion.
so having close fights taints his image but fighting no names and unranked people doesnt? Look at GGG and Wilders resume. KOs are all good but level of opposition taints a fighters image in my eyes a lot more than struggling with other top ten guys or champions.

IMO its all a matter of preference and what hinders DSG is he isnt special at anything or have any special attribute.

I dont see how anyone thinks Peterson won when he was highly inactive and didnt do much the whole fight...fights are scored round by round

Herrera was more a toss up and closer imo

He deserved that hate. Then his father made the statement that Thurman and Porter should fight Salka level fights and get paid. And that seems like what Danny is doing. The Peterson fight was a legit fight. Peterson loss that fight because he gave up to many early rounds. The Paulie fight I can somehow overlook because he's moving up. But he shouldn't have followed that up with the Guerrero fight. I used to be the biggest Garcia fan. I don't hate him but I'm apathetic towards him. Until he shows me he's trying to become king of 147 by taking on the Thurmans, Brooks, and Porters, I'm not really interested in him. If he takes the Ortiz fight I'm really done with him. Danny seems like a cool guy and I don't hate him but I'm just not really a fan of his anymore.

is funny people expect so much out of a guy who has had one fight at the limit yet guys like Brook, Thurman and Porter have largely fought unranked opposition and are career welterweights

thats a double standard in my eyes

proof is in the pudding...all you have to do is look at his record, opponents and number of fights and see this guy isnt afraid to fight the best. Things come with time and the haymon stable is deep. Im sure he'll probably be in their with the winner of Porter-thurman after he has an interim fight.

danny gets criticism because he gets gifts. He's a solid fighter, but he's been exposed where crawford has not. Both are good fighters though can't wait to see crawford in tough.

I was at the peterson fight and he clearly won the last four arguably 5. The fight was way too close to say Danny swept the first 7 in my eyes so yeah saying he lost that fight is reasonable. And remember Danny got his ass beat in that fight. The look on his face was just like in the herrera fight, "this dude just got in my ass". It's easy to understand differing opinions when danny won the fight on sporadic body punches early in the fight and looked bad while doing that, then got worked for the last half of the fight.

Pretty sure every other guy that matters at 140 is with Haymon so Crawford doesn't have many options...postal is the best fight to be made at 140 and he's fighting him next.

Danny has LOTS of options at 147 on his side of the street. Probably get Berto next though....should have been Brook this summer or Broner if he's gonna get a Floyd fight in September....

Beating Berto is mehh...but he's another world champion if that's what matters to you...

Like I said, I don't hate Danny. I was the biggest Danny fan after the Khan fight. I even tried to rationalize Salka. I don't care if he got a gift decision against Herrera, every fighter gets them and that's not a reason to hate him. I wanna be a Danny fan again. But until he steps up and proves he wants to be king of Welter I can't really **** with Danny. I expect more from Danny than I do from Thurman and Porter because I know Danny can be great. Porter lost his big fight and Thurman has never fought one. They have more to prove than Danny. But seems like Danny has been complacent. I think he's been promised the Mayweather fight and just biding his time

nothing wrong with having standards...i feel you....Garcia earned my respect...I would've lost a lot of money betting against him...kid is the truth.

He reminds me of a WW holyfield...not dominant but knows how to win
