probably because Crawford is facing Viktor Postol in a fantastic battle for supremacy at 140

Facing him =/= beating him. You don't get props just for signing a fight. You need to actually win.

He could have fought Provo,Matthysse, and Herrera instead of the 3 bums he did fight.

People have hated Danny since he beat Khan. They really hated him after he beat Matthysse. When he got a favorable decision against Herrera people acted like he was the first and only fighter to ever get a questionable decision in his favor. But then he turned around and fought Salka. He deserved that hate. Then his father made the statement that Thurman and Porter should fight Salka level fights and get paid. And that seems like what Danny is doing. The Peterson fight was a legit fight. Peterson loss that fight because he gave up to many early rounds. The Paulie fight I can somehow overlook because he's moving up. But he shouldn't have followed that up with the Guerrero fight. I used to be the biggest Garcia fan. I don't hate him but I'm apathetic towards him. Until he shows me he's trying to become king of 147 by taking on the Thurmans, Brooks, and Porters, I'm not really interested in him. If he takes the Ortiz fight I'm really done with him. Danny seems like a cool guy and I don't hate him but I'm just not really a fan of his anymore.

When you say two former world champions it sounds good, but they are guys Danny should of beat easily. Nothing impressive about how he won those two fights. Anyways my complaints with Danny are this.

              1. He has a few questionable decisions in his career. Not really his fault, but I think he should of rematched Herrera without question. Not doing that is a big hit in my book.

              2. People hype up that he moved up a weight class, but the reality of it is, he has spent like 75% of his career at welterweight. He is one of those guys that boiled himself down hard in order to make weight. Guys that do that annoy me.

              3. While people dismiss the **** Angel says, because it is'nt Danny, but Danny does'nt say anything that would make me think he disagrees with his Dad.

              4. I just don't think he is that good. He gets the job done, but for how I look at a p4p list, he just does'nt belong in the top 10 imo.

With all that said. I enjoy watching him fight, and certainly would'nt knock someone that has him in their top ten, but I just don't see it.

and now he is fighting Postol who Danny avoided like the plague and paid step aside money then ditched the belt to keep staying ducking. Danny can keep fighting faided guerrero and shot andre bertos and getting gifts like vs herrera, theophanes and peterson.

Lol whatever danny was already done with 140 there was no need to fight Postol who was unproven that the time.

its like angel garcia said, why fight tough opposition when you can fight cherries and rod salsas and criticized porter and thurman for fighting. danny can stay ducking and fight cans like shot malignaggi, way past his prime guerreros who got dropped by arron with his 4 ko's and shot guys like berto who got ko'd by soto karass. Then he can steady stay ducking the thurman-porter winner or spence and fight someone like luis collazo or chris algieri :gay:

people go overboard because DSG isnt blitzing guys like GGG or completely shutting them out 10-2 style like Mayweather.

Most his fights at the top level are competitive. He isnt an all time great but he knows how to find a way to win

Ive watched that herrera and Peterson fight everytime Its a close competitive fight that could go either way, not some travesty

DSG isnt even 30 and has a resume that craps guys that are hyped on here like Canelo....GGG....Lomachenko....lots of fighters

Garcia deserves a lot more respect than fans give him.

One of the reasons I like Danny a lot is because he always finds a way to win like you said. The problem is he has look vulnerable in those 2 fights and in my honest opinion, he should've lost both, maybe Peterson more than Herrera. I like the guy but people's perspective about those fights taints his image in my opinion.
