So if I follow the new rule of the flumo/anti GGG dontae nation's code lol, "Ward ducking GGG doe".
Then GGG team asked for a 164 CW, not 161.
Canelo and GBP are so full of themselves with this 155 demand.
Admit you don't want to fight middleweights and vacate.
He has been avoided in his own division. It was pretty much clear that Quillin Martinez then Cotto wanted no part of GGG.
Again he might avoid bigger men at 168 and avoid draining himself to 155 or 154 but the real deal is about fighting the 3 other belt holders, that's basically what he has to do.
One is kidnapping the WBC belt fighting a WW at 155.
Then you guyson GGG. lol
As usual, you make some fair points, and you are honest.
Golovkin is obviously playing the exact same risk/reward game as everyone else...... some guys are avoiding Golovkin, but Golovkin is also avoiding the guys he doesn't wanna fight.
The Ward/Mayweather thing..... simply cannot be taken seriously.
Those guys were 3 divisions apart, 4 now, so that fight was NEVER realistic.
That was a silly twitter beef over Guerrero......
Ward publicly addressed the issue..... he stated that he never considered pursuing a Mayweather fight, that the fight is totally unrealistic and will never happen, and that he cannot make 160.....
I have posted that video for kafkod AT LEAST 6 times, but the dishonest little wanker still continues to run with that rubbish.
Let me give you an example...... when you mention Lara, kafkod will insist that twitter banter is NOT an official negotiation..... but he still insists that the off-handed twitter comment from Ward was a genuine attempt to pursue a Mayweather fight.....
..... and the ONLY reason he does that is to give himself a weak comeback when asked why Golovkin was prepared to fight Froch at 172 but needed a catchweight for Ward.
Personally I am sick of the fanboi bull****, and sick of this whole subject really..... but it's no problem discussing this kind of thing with you.
Props for your honest outlook on the game, you are obviously pretty passionate about the sport.
Whether I agree or not, good posting, and all the best ^^

Nah, you're full of it.
155 > 154.
If Golovkin can make 154, then he can make 155.
The ONLY difference is the opponent.
Golovkin was willing to take a risk against lil old feather-fisted Floyd..... but he is not willing to take a risk against the young red stud Canelo.
If Golovkin walks away from that HUGE payday/exposure over a "principle"..... then he will be called a duck..... because Team Bull**** have no principles, they have lied incessently LMAO

From heaviest to lightest:
Canelo
Golovkin
Floyd
For some reason the heaviest fighter demands that instead of making title defenses in his own division he makes the real middleweight champion (who he is a few lbs larger than) drop to the comedic catchweigt of 155 (1 pound above the 154 limit canelo can't make)
We call this "ducking". You create a set of ******ed circumstances your opponents must adhere to which filters out anyone serious and instead gets you Amir Khan for the world middleweight title.

Doesn't matter, like Gene Simmons and many other rich have said... you can never make too much money. And like I've said before, even if you hate the money, keep collecting it and donate it to Alzheimers Research, or to the fund for retired boxers. Sorry if you are offended, but actually I'm offended by those who refuse to accept my completely valid points. Yours are valid, yes, but so are mine. Anyway, I've blabbered about this subject enough. Time for a snooze. Ha
Its interesting that you expect Golovkin to donate to retired boxers and brain research. I hope you are asking fighters like Manny and Floyd to donate their earnings, which far surpass Gennady, to make the same donations. Maybe Canelo can donate some of his earnings against a welterweight for the middleweight belt to research.
As far as Gennadys net worth, it wasnt that hard to search and find out. But I'll give you a link anyway.
