Garcia's severely overrating Canelo's drawing power. Golovkin's not gonna get $10M for fighting Canelo. If it's a 75/25 split then in best case scenario it will be something like 15m/5m purses.

Look at Canelo's purses - he has never had a 10M guarantee, his highest guaranteed has been 5M.

The Khan fight will be the first fight where's he's guaranteed 10M. Source

If GGG asked ward for 161 people would assume GGG didn't really want it and was having a laugh. Shows the bias against GGG.

GGG said 168 for froich so that's helping froch out. He said 154 for Floyd to help Floyd out even though most want fkloyd to test himself for 6 th title . GGG knows Floyd wiont fight him otherwise. So its always GGG trying to be best friends with everyone, yet froch didn't want GGG after all and neither does Floyd.

GGG don't need 155 for nelo as GGG is hoping nelo comes too his senses.

Robert Garcia is absolutely right. Why will Golovkin go down to 154 for Floyd but not to 155 for Canelo?

It's worth it for $10 million.

Two MW champions in a MW championship unification bout.... fought @ a CW of 155lbs. The guy asking for the CW walks around @ 170+lbs & rehydrates to 160-165 after weigh-in. See how silly that sounds?

the biggest prize on this fight is not what you get for fighting canelo, is what you get if you beat canelo, he wont get anything close even if he manages to get all the titles(including the lineal)...
That by FAR is the most important part. I can't even imagine how much that would help GGG's CAREER!!!

And boxing is all about money anyway .. blah blah..

And that, right there, is the reason why boxing in America is fucked ... ******, cynical people making fights tailored for fans who are as ****** and cynical as they are. And, even in America, people as ****** and cynical as Robert Garcia are a minority of the population.
In your last paragraph you just described somebGGG fans. Wade tailered made for ****** fans. That right there is what FK'd up about boxing. Wade shouldn't of been in the RING with GGG and you LOVED that POS mismatch... As long as GGG got his KO and looked good against the BUM.

Why does GGG fans bring up Rod Salka when talking about HUGE MISMATCHES but NOT GGG vs. Wade which was WORSE??? I would be ASHAMED if my favorite fighter did that sht. And I'm sure you Bi@tched and moaned about Berto / Floyd.

Just cos he went to 154 for Floyd how does that then mean he has to go to 155 for nelo? Nelo is more than 1 lb heavier than Floyd so GGG can go to 157 for nelo!

It's more about that Canelo is a full fledged middleweight fighting smaller high profile fighters. As we all saw in Canelo's fights vs Trout, Lara and Cotto, he doesn't have the power to really hurt top 10 active super welters, let alone hurting top 10 active middlweights @ 160 lbs. So, he's trying to bring up to 155 lbs smaller fighters or drain to 155 lbs bigger fighters. IF a fight between him and Golovkin will take place, a fair c/w would be @ 157-158 lbs and of course WITHOUT a title on the table.

A fight vs Mayweather would generate far much money for GGG than a fight vs Canelo, so it's worthing to go down @ 154 lbs.

No no no. Canelo has a middleweight title that's why it has to be at the middleweight limit 160. Floyd doesn't have a middleweight title and is a natural welterweight. Floyd has said he would beat anybody 154 on down. Case closed !
