GGG fans remind me of the guy hector from blades of glory who stocks jon heder lol. I can picture GGG fans run up to GGG and say "Gennady, you will smell like a winner"

It's a business first and foremost. GGG needs to just shut up, suck it up, and obey the rules if he wants his biggest career paycheck by far.

So you're siding with a team making a decision to go for 'principle' instead of a $5-10 mil paycheck? Because that's the range of pay GGG would make if he just shut up and agreed with the demand from the A-side guy Canelo.

Yea, or more to the point..... why pizz away $5-10 mil over this, when you can make 154 for Mayweather.

The guys who are focusing on the fact that Mayweather would be coming up in weight, are completely missing the point.

If you can make 154, then you can make 154.

Last paragraph; it's all about money...no more pride. The man speaks the truth. Boxing reflects our era. Sad.

I did read and I stand firm, any comparison with a 154 Floyd fight is ******.

                And what about the rest?

A-sides usually never ask a fighter to go down 5 lbs or more, except Pac for Oscar, Ward for Dawson, Leonard for Lalonde.

An GUESS WHAT, all the guys going down in weight lost all the rounds before getting KTFO.

So GGG should sign at 155 and probably lose his undefeated record, lose his first big fight in order to get a big payday?

Do you really think a 5 lbs weight drained GGG beat Canelo?
                I don't think so.

Nelo said GGG hasn't fought anyone and essentially overated so why so desperate for cw? GGG has looked great beating bums. So why does nelo insist on a weight where he won't get credit?

I think nelo needs to think about what weight he will face bjs and Jacobs, cos more likely nelo will face either of them before fighting ggg

                    but.....

Robert did not advise Mikey regarding his beef with Top Rank.

                    Mikey's lawyers did.

Then, Mikey decided that he would prefer to take a holiday rather than be exploited and treated like a b1tch.

How many fighters have either left Arum, or waited him out ?

How many do you think will leave Haymon in the next 10 years ?

And why do you think that is ?

If anything I think money talk kills this fight. GB is offering Khan $6mill guaranteed, yet Oscar was talking 90/10 split (again ahead of official negotiations). The real question could be, would GGG accept less money to fight Canelo than Khan got?
I don't think K2/GGG takes it at 155, but I agree there's no reason to negotiate a major concession through the media.
