Let's act like Floyd and Canelo are the same weight + Ginger being also and ATG. Floyd is a 147 lbs fighter SO 154 IS A CW BETWEEN 147 AND 160. Canelo is a 155 lbs fighter so a CW BETWEEN 155 AND 160 WOULD BE 157 OR 158. Dudes should work their mathematics.

You may wanna read the actual article before commenting FNO. Robert Garcia CLEARLY said he isn't for CWs himself. His point is, why pizz away $5-10 mil over this? Floydie, Cotto, Pacman etc., all A-sides, have had CW stipulations before. And like he said, Canelo is the top draw in boxing currently, so he, not GGG, can make the rules. It's a business first and foremost. GGG needs to just shut up, suck it up, and obey the rules if he wants his biggest career paycheck by far.

Not the same thing Garcia. Canelo represents a fighter who's already been defeated & his salary cap is only so much. With mayweather, you have the chance to dethrone that undefeated p4p streak, the pay out is more, the event coverage is more. That's ALOT more that Floyd brings to the table for GGG to consider the drop. Not the same thing Garcia, Garcia should concentrate on KEEPING in house world champions. The more I follow this beautifull sport, the more I think that you can be a world champion or a "respected trainer" with an average, if not low IQ.

Probably thinking too much doesn't help in boxing, it will make you hypersensitive and so weak mentally, that's probably why Klitschko, known as a smart guy, struggled mentally early in his career.

I think once the Canelo/Khan farce is done, and GB offers the fight at 155 lbs, K2 will accept. Official negotiations have yet to begin and a CW is a major part. Why would K2 go ahead and make that concession off the bat?

If anything I think money talk kills this fight. GB is offering Khan $6mill guaranteed, yet Oscar was talking 90/10 split (again ahead of official negotiations). The real question could be, would GGG accept less money to fight Canelo than Khan got?

The 90/10 thing was OBVIOUSLY a silly off-handed comment to the media..... most likely made to diminish Golovkin, or to diminish the necessity for Canelo to face Golovkin NOW.

I never took it seriously, and I don't many others did either, including Team Golovkin..... a few fans decided to run with it.

Negotiations have not even started yet, and Golovkin will obviously make more than Khan..... so yea, I wouldn't take that off-handed comment out of context.

157 would be VERY fair! GGG usually weight 159 on the scales the day before.

If GGG insists on 160 then I'll blame GGG for the fight not happening.

If Canelo sticks to 155 I blame him.

These two need to meet in the middle and set some attendance records in Dallas Stadium and EASILY 2+ Million PPV Buys!!!
