True, but Burns doesn't deserve a shot at a world title at 140 either. Yet he's getting one. Burns v Theophane for a 140lb world title is quite laughable really. Neither guy is in the top 10 at the weight. Lucky to crack top 15.

Nice idea in theory, but would like to see what the card looks like. It'd be cool to see this sorta thing catch on with more promoters matching up there up & coming (cuz you know they won't do this with their proven top guys very often) rosters vs other promoters. Can even keep it in the family & f#ck with people you already f#ck with, TR vs GBP, Main Events vs GYM, DiBella vs Warriors. Anyone looking forward to this happening just to see what it'd look like.

LOL but yea this. I was thinking **** Floyd will do anything to get his guy a title shot at first, but then was thinking wtf Burns got a title shot. Burns vs Theophane makes a ton of sense for both guys & both promoters.

Some of us need to quit lying to ourselves that a title shot or even a title means your elite in 2016. Titles are cheap in this era as long as you are a halfway decent fighter with a promoter looking out for you even a lil bit.
