Jack is garbage just like all the other fighters promoted by May. Degale should win easily since jack fights very stiff

Can not see anything but a Draw or 7-5 either way type fight.
Both around the same level and neither are capable of winning convincingly it would appear. They both barely do enough too win and make every fight way more difficult than it should be.

I think these two might be the best at 168 at the moment. I used to think of Jack as a typical pressure fighter. But he has improved into a pretty good technical fighter now. I want to see GGG against the winner of this fight.

Jack is pretty good all round but he doesn't excel in anything.

I think DeGale is better in some areas than Jack but he tends to switch off in fights or make life more difficult for himself than heneeds to, i'm not even sure stamina problem, it seems more of a mental thing..

Whatever it is, he can't get away with it against a decent all-rounder like Jack or he might just find himself well behind on the score cards.

If DeGale can fight consistently and focused, he whoops Jack i think. That's a big "if" though. Him doing what he does seems to happen every fight.

Its up to Degale for me. He's got a history of switching off mid fight throughout his career, he's clearly got the skills but doesnt seem to have the focus.

Ive always thought that his trainer isnt strong enough with him. James needs someone who lays down the law, and bollocks him when he switches off.

Anyways Id have Degale by UD.

It will be interesting I think DeGale is the more skilled guy but Jack is the more consistent which is a big issue for DeGale.

I think DeGale will be more on his game next fight given his issues against Medina and Jack is not the throw caution to the wind type guy Medina is. As such I favor DeGale, but you just never know when that on/off effort is going to haunt DeGale it could be any fight.

Before last night I would've said DeGale hands down, but Jack is steady through out his fights. I can see Jack staying busy while DeGale takes rounds off. James has the greater peaks, Badu the more constant. DeGale's to lose, but he'll have to push hard like he did the Bute fight.

I think both guys are having some issues making 168lbs also.

I think Jack will beat him on points. Jack is a good precision boxer who is hard to hit. He has good power, fast hands and good reactions. He is a good counter puncher and a great body puncher. DeGale is tricky and fast with good power. He has poor fundamentals and a very strange unorthodox style. He makes lots of mistakes and often telegraphs very wide punches. He can be sloppy and he runs a lot. He doesn't throw many punches per round. I thought he lost last night to the same fighter Jack KOed. I thought Bute only won the last 3 rounds and Jack won all the other rounds. Jack has better skills than DeGale and I only give DeGale a puncher's chance to win.

Can't decide right now, but I'm leaning towards Jack. Think it'll be a close one.
