Bertos terrible against southpaws. He can't see the straight left coming. Spence would destroy Berto.

Nawh, it would probably have looked like Algieri/Bone. Close war of a fight that Algieri edges out. If Algieri goes back to how he fought Provo then Berto might not ever really be in the fight. That Spence KO had to take a lot out of Algieri though so I'm not sure what we'll see from Algieri next.

No he's not. #1 is vacant, he's #2 and Ponomarev #3, which is why an eliminator was ordered.

          Robert G
          Diego Chaves
          Jos. Lopez

Berto is like a 12round Clottey

How would they be any better than Berto? Especially since Berto already stopped Lopez. Chaves has done absolutely nothing to be considered a good test for Spence.

The difference is that #1 has won an eliminator and is the mandatory contender. #2, even if #1 is vacant, is not mandatory.

                Bone? Come on, bruh.

Algieri aint got the firepower for some of that stalking and phonebooth stuff he pulled in the Bone fight with Berto. A 'war' will lead to Berto by decapitation, especially as susceptible Algieri is to speed.

Unless Algieri stinks out the joint by trying to not engage, he's not finishing a fight with Berto.

Algieri is so overrated on this site that it's not even funny. He wins all of his fantasy fights at 147 but loses all of the real ones. I remember a lot of people here actually believed he was going to beat Spence.

Firepower? Soto Karass, who has a 42% KO ratio and double digit losses, stopped this dude. Since when did firepower become necessary to beat Berto?

Tell you what, why don't you to start a poll and ask this community who hits harder and who ****s better between Algieri and Soto Karass.

That 42% KO percentage that you snickered at is STILL higher than Algieri's 33%.

I'm willing to live with the poll results though. Are you?
