    Washington, DC - WBC super middleweight champion Badou Jack (20-1-2, 12KOs) and former IBF king Lucian Bute (32-3-1, 25KOs) fought to a twelve round majority draw. The scores were 117-111 for Jack, 114-114, 114-114. Jack and IBF champion James DeGale have an agreement in place to face each other in a Showtime televised unification in the fall.

            That's a knock for Jack's momentum.

            Dirrel, Groves and Bute would have been a nice 3 win streak.

                At this stage in Bute's career a draw is about the best he can hope for against the top guys.

                I thought Jack won the fight. Bute finished very strong but started very slow, as he seems to do quite often.

                    DRAW? I think this was done to preserve Bute and keep him as a contender because he is still a huge draw in Canada. He will likely get another Title shot yet again very soon
