June 2012: Gets knocked out by Bailey uppercut
August 2014: Loses to 11-2 fighter

Hasn't returned since.

I remember people having him in their sigs and avis. lol

Probably smart decision. I mean he's just going to keep getting KOd for hardly any money, not worth it long run.

Kinda like Jaidon Codrington. A lot of skill but that chin! Made me think Allen Green was the next coming of Tommy Hearns for a minute lol. Fought some bums for a bit then crushed by Bika in that awesome The Contender finale. Disappeared after that iirc retired. A lot of guys need to be smart and realize if you're getting KOd rocked in every fight maybe look into another profession. But a lot kids it's all they know so they keep going. Forgotten guys like Antoine Echols, once a top middleweight, awesome fights with Hopkins, goes on to get KOd like 20 times...sad. Edison Miranda another one needs to hang em up

I remember arguing with some guy here after Mike lost to Jamie Herrera and the guy said Herrera did nothing, Mike was just cut that's all. And I told the fool to go watch the fight. Mike was hurt a number of times and pounded on till the stoppage. When you get beat up by an 11-2 fighter, its time to find another profession. Herrera is not a bad fighter though, with four out of five of his last five opponents being unbeaten.

Mike Jones had a lot of hype behind him aswell at one point. He was considered (on forums) to be one of the best at 147.

I wasn't aware he was knocked out again after Randall Bailey knocked him out.
