Canelo has fans left on this site??
They must be GGG haters in disguise.
He has a ton of casual fans in Mexico and also some in the US, who dont know whats going on, who get blinded by their lies, who have absolutely no idea about the sport, yeah.

How is he supposed to get any credit for fighting anyone credible if in your mind fighters like Canelo (or anyone worth a damn) should fight everyone but Golovkin, even though he is right now in the top 5 most popular (and number 1 most notorious) boxers in the world.
Agree to fight Andre Ward, when the offer actually came forward.
Mention guys like Daniel Jacobs and Peter Quillin by name, rather than chasing welterweights.
Fight literally anyone at 168lbs (the weight where nearly every top amateur 165 fighter has ended up competing at, before typically moving on at some point)
Golovkin and his camp have never seemed to even consider putting Golovkin into a situation where he was even taking a 'kinda' risk in a fight; to try and play 'woe is me' on his behalf is silly.
Floyd Mayweather Jr was 17-0 when he went after 130lb king Genaro Hernandez. Saul Alvarez, against the advise of basically everyone in his circle, fought Erislandy Lara and Austin Trout because those were the fights that he wanted. Oscar De La Hoya, after basically capping out as a solid 154lber (starting off the championship run at 130), gambled at fighting at 160lbs. Bernard Hopkins, after spending his entire career at 160lbs, went up 15 pounds to fight Antonio Tarver.
In instance after instance, most fighters reached a point where the outcome wasn't always guaranteed, but they were willing to take that leap.
Golovkin doesn't even feign interest in trying; he knows that his age is getting up there, so he's looking for at least one big cashout before risking anything.

Hopefully Alvarez will sign to fight Golovkin if he beats Khan-job and we can see a good fight.

For the price of what got you a ringside seat to Golovkin-Wade (and Golovkin-Lemieux also, tbh), you'd be watching the fight on the screens in the not-quite-nosebleeds of Alvarez-Khan. Overselling the guy does nothing for no one.

not a canelo fan but the risk of being Kod by GGG vs the money fighting blown up WWs with decent names doesn't make sense at this point to him. canelo has 3 hall of famers on his resume, lost to one, hes also fought big names in his own division.... so he can and will use that against GGG who hasn't fought anyone worth mentioning. Im a GGG fan by the way

It's like:
Danny Jacobs: Not worth the risk, talk to my promotion
Billy Joe Saunders: Not worth the risk, want like 6 million or some ****.
Kid Chocolate: Not worth the risk, want 10 million
Canelo: Prove you can beat people who matter
Everyone is gonna use the same ****ing excuse like a circle and he can't face anyway. And don't give me goddamn Andre Ward who is a few inches taller than him and 15 pounds heavier than him. I'm talking about dudes in his own damn division that don't want to face him.

Beyond that, Golovkin, if he really wanted the fight, would already have the fight with Alvarez at 155lbs.
Hopkins went to 156 for Oscar, Floyd went to 154 for Oscar, Canelo went to 152 for Floyd, Paul Williams went up to friggin 160 for Martinez, etc.
Golovkin is unwilling to give up a single pound to make the biggest fight of his career and you call that "trying to take a risk"?
