Povetkin is going to make easy work of Wilder, but I dunno why everyone is so hostile against Wilder. He's a really cool guy. Plus he'd knock that wanker Fury out and send him to another world
Povetkin is just too much. Too skilled. Too strong. Too short. Too Russian.Comment

Just like Povetkin should have been DQ'd for constantly coming in with his head around Marco Huck's knees when Huck was beating the cr@p out of him, giving Huck nowhere to punch but the back of his head. Disgraceful.Comment

what a load of rubbish, you are a total cretin with a clear agenda.
Huck was hitting him in the back head throughout the entire fight, not only was he not deducted points but he was warned like ...once? not to mention the elbows and general dirty tactics through the fight.
You're not allowed to bend at the waist according to this idiot
Povetkin still clearly won. which is amazing considering how sloppy he looked.
Just look at their faces at the end. povetkin hardly has a mark on his face, where huck's eyes are both swollen shut and his face is a bloody battered mess.

You have no idea what Wilder is walking into. But Wilder does, hence the refusal to take this fight until it was take-it-or-be-stripped time.
He is going up against a Olympic Gold Medalist with solid fundamentals and then some. Nothing special in terms of athletic gifts but no B-level scrub that make up Wilder's entire record. Not only that but Povetkin has solid Professional experience against other top level skilled fighters (Chris Byrd, Eddie Chambers, as well as a stew of tall fighters ---which just give him further advantage. The only way Wilder would have prepared himself for this fight is if he ha taken on a couple of solid opponents, rather than club fighters and stiffs for his hometown coming. That's how you get better.
And if Povetkin indeed is on that secret sauce which has added on to his physique/conditioning --then all that spells disaster for the Bronze bummer.Comment

Sorry, can't agree with this. Both fighters fought their hearts out, but Povetkin was literally reeling on his feet at the end of the fight after taking a tremendous shellacking, while Huck looked like he was still raring to go. He was very lucky to get the win, and certainly didn't come out of the fight the fresher man.what a load of rubbish, you are a total cretin with a clear agenda.

Maybe, just maybe, someone should tell Wilder that calling himself the "Black Rocky" might be a little ill advised for this fight.
If memory serves, the brother who took a trip to Russia in one of those films kinda wound up regretting it...Comment

He's not calling himself the "Black Apollo Creed" though is he?Comment
