And again I think people make too much of betting odds as to the "real odds". There are a lot of dummies betting on sports & the lines will reflect what the public perception is + where the money is going not a guys actual chance to win or lose in a unbiased, reasonable persons opinion with knowledge about the event & athletes necessarily.
most people who bet on boxing know very little about the sport and look at odds instead of the fighters' strengths and weaknesses to determine who they favor

It is a pick em type fight because of their styles but Porter will be taking some counters trying to work his way in

neither have a great jab so the fight will get sloppy at times. Porter gets untidy in there technique wise and often rushes in instead of work off pivots

Also Porter was dropped by lil AB who barely threw in their fight. Thurman will throw some shots with mustard as hard or harder than Broner and land.

Thurman is known as a puncher but he is more of a puncher who can box and be elusive like Haye.

I think Thurman gets a kd or 2 in and that will be the difference. Also cleaner shots landed

What makes you say Porter won't frequently get himself hurt getting into range

remember when thurman was the hot shot? now hes old news thanks to haymon's slow motion handling of his career. spence is now the new hot shot. thurman has to be impressive to gain back the title of hot shot. we all know porter is no hot shot but hes no bum either. lets hope thurman can beat porter clearer than fellow hot shot kell brook who held nonstop in an un hot shot like performance or fellow 4 division hot shot broner who also held nonstop.

            Where did I say that?

I just don't think Thurman likes a pressure guy like Porter. I think both will have some success, it'll just be about who has the most success. Hell I think Thurman wins myself, but its a 50/50 fight in my eyes I won't be surprised at all if Porter wins.

I actually think on his day, Porter is an awful matchup for anybody. He's very beatable but you're not going to look good doing it and if you're not on your game, you could find yourself well behind on the score cards because he's a hard fighter to implement your style on because of his.

He's the kind of fighter that could end up having some ugly wins over some real elite competition i think.

Any fighter that beats him soundly, like by KO, i will give massive credit to. I certainly don't have Thurman as a clear favourite, although i might edge towards him winning.

Porter was brought into PBC to be s gatekeeper for the guys that Hymen was trying to build up, instead he looks to be better than most of the "stars" that they had signed.

Hymen doesn't seem to like Porter too much and he will ALWAYS end up getting the short end of the stick. If Thurman manages to stagger Porter at all, the ref will likely step in and rule it a TKO even without a standing 8 count. He also might try to get Porter disqualified for rough house tactics. Above all though will be the atrocious scoring. Unless Porter beats the dog mess out of Yhurman and drops him at least twice, the scores will be disgustingly one-sided in Thurman's favor....... The bookies know the deal.... It's setup before the fight ever happens.
