He would be remembered as a" coulda been". The man people feared so much he never got his chance
If GGG retired today, how would he remembered? (If at all)

I don't give him any sympathy for Cotto because he made a good million. Plus Cotto is small and past it at this stage. I kind of give Sergio a pass too because he was clearly damaged after the Chavez Jr. fight. He was just looking for a retirement check at that stage.
Canelo is a prime, top 10 pound for pound caliber fighter and has absolutely no excuse.Comment

He wouldn't be remembered as a hagler, Jones or even hopkins because he needs a couple of career defining fights and wins....look lets be fair golovkin is kazachstan and that's a world away from being an American, mexican or UK boxer so he never had that exposure that even a anthony Joshua is getting now...he's had to come up through obscurity and fight on events that were simply not aired on any major network ....it's only in the last 2 years that he has started to creep into the minds and thoughts of the USA public and media....if he retired now he would not be remembered as an ATG ..he has 4 years to cement his legacy as from nowComment
