Me too! I saw it live on TV. But... Takashi isn't making any excuses, and neither are his fans. No tight socks, shoulder pain, toridol ****s. He lost at home and took it like a man, not a Manny!

In Japan,if uchiyama claimed a shoulder injury... He would have to kill himself. Bob brings out the worst in the fighters he represents.

Holy fk, I wasn't expecting that. Guess old age finally caught up with him and wow, that Corrales was unloading wildly/swinging for the fences looking for that KO. Looks like 130 is open for business.

Yeah, thats what made those fights interesting. But there is no reason he should get clocked by a guy flailing his arms. The first knockdown was a perfect crisp shot. But prior to that , and after that kd, the guy was pushing his punches and throwing really wide shots. He wasn't even looking in the last barrage. I just think it's a shame he lost to this guy. Arum really screwed up not getting Walters this fight.

Yes but that doesn't change the fact that Japan is the Germany of Asia....

No excuses when they lose and it's gone down on the books,
BUT if a Japanese gets his ass kicked all up and down the ring and loses
all 12 rounds he'll take his SD and act like he really won same as any fighter....

I am speaking more to the fan base. But even the Japanese broadcaster were saying .. Splendid(omigoto) victory for Corrales.

No belt holding hostage crap. They just want to fight in Japan.

Notice how a real man takes a loss: no excuses. Shake hands and leave. You saw that right! He shook hands and let the ring for the victor. Let the victor taken in his well deserved victory !
Even the home town fans cheered him! Get it!! No Pinoy tribal crap

Excuses: 0000000. Japanese got too much pride to create excuses. Comes from a long samurai tradition.

Agree completely. Uchiyama was my guy at 130 and to see him stopped like that it sucks.

BUT Pongsaklek Wonjongkam is a genuine ATG....
I suggest you look up the names on his record, a half dozen or so
guys he kod went on to be champs after he beat them up....

Also the big names all ducked him not the other way round.
Donaire, Darchinyan etc were all seemingly terrified of the guy....

And what do you mean Wonjongkam didn't pass the eye test???
Just from a glance at footage of him you can see he's skillfull as ****
and has a very fan friendly style....

Have you ever actually watched him fight??
Or are you just being a boxrec warrior?? (without even lookin at his record properly)
To be honest i was unfair wording that, i was talking more about his late career. Have not seen much of his prime but ironically it was later in his career when he had more hype in the american media, so i checked out his latest fights and was not impressed. Porbably should've checked him out in his prime because the man had been fighting pro for more than 13 years for the first fight of his i saw.

I do think the lowest weightclasses are usually very devoid of talent, but the eye test may have been hampered by the fact that he was already past prime.....

This is a thread about Uchiyama being humiliated and kod by a weight drained nobody.
But you turned it into a Pac hate thread for some reason...
Then you started giving us that Japanese honor bull**** propaganda.

Tell me does the so called monster Inoue have to kill himself??
I mean that coward did use the excuse of being afraid (not ready)
When he was asked about P4P king Roman Gonzalez....
So in Japanese culture does Naoya Inoue's cowardice and excuse making
                      not warrant harakiri?? LOL!!!

How the hell are the Kameda Kowards still alive????

Also I'm not even a Pinoy, look I'll prove it
Manny got his a*s kicked by Marquez 4 times legit and he should have fought
Guzman, Soto and Valero at superfeather....
Still think I'm from Phillipines dumb ass???

I think I'm the one who hit a nerve....
I get the feeling you are Japanese And you took my Japan is Germany comment to heart....
