Barrera is much better, his KO % also nearly doubles Chilemba's, 67% to 34%. He doesn't pose much of a threat which is why Kovalev selected him.

Yeah they prefer KOs even if it's a mismatch.

Not excited about the fight, but it's a fight that makes sense for Kovalev as a preparation for Ward. Chilemba is a spoiler who takes his opponents' game away and frustrates them a la Ward. Kovalev must expect Ward to pull all the dirty tricks on him, and he's probably right because Ward can't win any other way.
In another news, Kathy Duva said the Ward fight will probably take place either in New York or Las Vegas. So no home refereeing for Ward to get away with all the shenanigans. Ward is screwed.

                Ppv?lmao

Ward Kovalev is not even close to PPV. It will do GGG v Lemule numbers. Especially with the garbage ChilemBUM fight as the lead up. The Barrera fight showed Ward as a pitty pat faqg with no chance of beating Kovalev. HBO and Duva are dreaming.

Fucc HBO, put this up as a 30 dollar PPV. Take the day off work and kick it.

Some sports network should invest in televising international fights. A lot of good **** isn't seen on American TV.

It doesn't work, not enough interest. Versus TV tried that for a bit, delivered great bouts from abroad like Froch Pascal and Adamek Uss, nobody tuned in. Weird start times hurt, tape delay is not the same
