Ach, like with Golovkin, I hate these nothing fights. Agnew... Caparello... Mohammedi... Chilly-member... Just let it be over quickly so we can get the Ward fight signed.

Chilemba is a good solid contender. Probably about the level of Sullivan barrera, it'll be nice to see kovalev work and show his skills. He'll have to if he wants to stop a guy like Chilemba.

I think if you're HBO you want to televise this to continue putting Kovalev out there prior to the Ward fight, but the time zone difference will have to be worked out.

Yea, I guess there's that. Kovalev needs some rounds in before a long wait until November. I'm just worried that he'll come in unmotivated and possibly look bad because of that (like in the Agnew fight, which kinda ****** ass until the KO).

Hagler vs Hearns was a Tuesday. Russia fights are usually 3 Eastern.

I can't understand why not, the Ward fight should be hyped. I don't think Kov and Ward will talk trash unless...Ward initiates it. If not, then it's gonna be a boring build up.
