Two of those are retired but I agree, they would if they did. So that leaves Cotto and Canelo. GGG is obviously on this level as far as ticket sales go. GGG would have no problem selling out the small arena's in Vegas.

The point I'm making is selling out MSG is not that big a deal. Fighters want to get big fights in Vegas those are the premium arenas where you make the big bucks and charge far more for ticket. Selling cheap tickets to sell out MSG is nice but not that impressive. Klitchsko drew I believe more in ticket sales to fight Jennings at MSG and pulled far higher TV ratings for HBO 1.6m viewers by the way. I'm sure Fury, Joshua and many UK fighters could sell out MSG if they gave out cheap tickets. But they make more money fighting in larger stadiums with higher ticket prices in the UK. Fighters make more money fighting in Vegas or overseas then MSG.

I admire the goal. There are currently not unified champions. Not one. Kovalev is close. Wlad was really close, but that fell apart(Thanks IBF).

It will be nice if Golovkin can make it happen.

He did LESS ratings then he did in his last HBO fight against Monroe and he went from fighting on PPV and failing badly and sent back to regular HBO for a reason. He did less ticket sales this fight then he did his prior fight. He's not closing no gap he has the exact same popularity he had last year. And tickets, tv ratings are slightly down from where they were last year.

Ratings for Wade were slightly better than Monroe, but just barely. This guy has picked up endorsements from apple and jordan this year and samsung over seas. To say his popularity isn't growing is a stretch when you consider he is known in other countries as well. Numbers don't tell the whole story, for example his tv ratings for the Murray fight were low in America around 850k, but did 2 million viewers in Germany, 1 million in the UK, and 6 million in Mexico.
