Dont mind the same fighters tbh. As long as it is competitive or at least a top 10 opponent im in. Also with 50$ max why not

Had to look up Ekpo online. Ranked 190 in the world, never won a fight outside of Africa. I guess they're looking to give Zurdo a gimme.

We're getting Thurman vs. Porter on CBS in prime time! And they want us to pay for Crawford vs. Postol on HBO PPV? If consumers start protesting with their wallets (this obviously happened to Pacquiao vs. Bradley III) we can change the game! The only fights that should be PPV are Canelo vs. GGG and Kovalev vs. Ward. If PBC survives (and I hope they do) it will raise the level for a PPV fight.

Arum is already dooming this. It could've been realistic as a $30 HD PPV, but talking about "no more than $50" is unrealistic.

I like the fight but, it's not the top 2 fighters at Jr Welter. Crawford has no win that looks better than Postol's win over Matthysse. But the winner will definitely be seen as the man at 140.

You can't go wrong with Zurdo and Valdez on the undercard!!!

The main event looks pretty good too. I'll go with Postol in that one.

              Can't wait!

Arum's idea of a "terrific" undercard is two or three of his name fighters in safe fights against no-hopers.

I might even watch Ramirez for the first time. I sure as hell wasn't about to watch an Abraham fight, no matter who he's in with. :yuck:
Well I care if it flops, because crap like that should be forced into taking a loss to make promoters create better matchups than this for PPV. This has 2 of the best LWW's in the world yes, but not of all time or even of the last 5 or 10 years. This should be a highly rated and watched HBO main event not a PPV that I have to shell out extra money for, I would'nt even bother trying to steal a stream of this crap.

wasn't the Cotto-Malignaggi fight an independent PPV?

I dunno how well this whole Crawford PPV route will go, we'll see.

**as for caring about how well the event does, I don't have anything economically invested. A good PPV turnout for Crawford-Postol doesn't fatten my wallet any. But we're fans, and it's kinda obnoxious that a good high level fight is made less available to the masses by being made on PPV.

hell already mentioned, but look at Porter-Thurman, on CBS.
